  7. Pigeon Express is a Pigeon Courier Service aimed at improving the quality and care that should be taken when transporting Pigeons. At present the service is only open to the South East but if response is good plans can be made to expand the area of coverage. Pigeon Express is a family run business situated in Hythe. Pigeon racing has been in my family since 1912. I first started racing and breeding pigeons at an early age when I lived in S*expletive removed*horpe. At present I am not able to keep Pigeons but I am still in contact with many friends made during my time in the sport. Our aim is to improve the transportation of Pigeons by providing: Same Day Collection and Delivery. A Safe Environment for Transportation, no other items are carried. A Sympathetic and Knowledgeable Driver that has the wellbeing of the Pigeon foremost. Please email us with any comments or suggestions regarding our service as we are always seeking to improve. 11. If you can find no evidence of it having taken a knock I would suspect Paratyphoid. Isolate it, spray your loft out, and get it tested. Better to be safe than sorry.

    Overfly

Lets say for instance you flew 72 miles from a given racepoint and a competitor flew 74 miles. You timed in 1 hr 12mins 00 secs from lib and your competitor timed in 1hr 14mins 00 secs from lib, you would both have the same velocity although he timed in 2 mins after you. that 2 mins difference is referred to as overfly.
  14. Well done Ian. Well done the Aberdeen Federation

Your enthusiasm will make up for any disadvantage you feel you have against darkness y/birds. Natural y/birds still win, keep bashing away and you'll get there.
  17. Agree with Tammy, every consideration must take place especially in these early y/bird races.
