I have no problems with the site and the way its run. Sure, wires will get crossed now and again but that’s the net for you, no facial expressions to read bar a smiley here and there (perhaps Richard should add a tongue in cheek smiley). The more you posts the more chance you’ll upset someone down the line but on the other hand the more you post the more chance you’ll help someone or get help if needed.
Of course there’s a few on here that has the sole aim to disrupt, ignore them, don’t feed their ego's.
Yes I remember the article, I was told it was a someone from the Portsmouth area that carried out this survey (could possibly be a scribe or ex scribe from the Portsmouth area)
So called sprint/middle distance pigeons should make their mark in your team by the yearling stage, I don’t go along with the ‘give em’ till they're two years old ’

DISCLAIMERS

I would agree with that as long as the seller were to put on their post their correct flying name and Fed secretary’s details so any claims could at least be substantiated.
This is all presumption on my part. Lets say a flight grows ¼ inch a day and the flight is 8’’ long this means it’ll take 32 days to fully grow. When this flight is 2/3rds of the way up it’ll throw its next, approx 22 days after the previous flight started to show through. A pigeon that’s now say half way up on its 8th (2 to go) should throw its 9th flight within a week and its last flight 22 days after that........ I think :-/
Check the Hornchurch club shows Wiley, there was something in the RP about them a couple of weeks ago, Lenny and a few others went along to the one last night.
Like most I guess you’ve reflected on this years racing and concluded the system you race needs a tweak or two. Perhaps its even time for a rethink, maybe you’re going to give another system a go.
What changes have you in mind?
