  1. You will always find a cock or two that want to dominate the floor, you can exploit this when setting them up for a race.
  2. My advice would be find a system that suits and stick with it, not for a year nor two but at least three years for it to bare fruit. Those that dont respond will either be lost or lag behind, disregard these and just breed of those that do respond.
  3. Yes they'll moult their first flights on their 2nd nests. The drawback being when the longer races come around they'll be on or around their 5th flight, it is regarded once on their 5th they're past their best. Another factor to consider is its said that rearing a pair of babies is equivalent of them having a 500 mile race so you'll be taking a lot out of them even before the season has begun.
  4. I would argue stongly they go back to the family to do as they please with them.
  5. http://www.albertaclassic.net/2005/PedigreeForm.php looks like you can only print this one as well.
  6. If you've a scanner, print it of then scan and save. There was another on-line pedigree put on this site not so long ago, think it may have come from a Canadian website.

  23. My sweetest memories of Christmas are of my own kids, bursting into our bedroom asking 'has he been yet' then going down stairs with them to see if he had indeed been lol the excitement on their faces and the innocence of it all, something I’ll treasure till the day I die. Priceless.
  24. Yes but you may have to wait longer for the hen to lay. The act of the cock driving he's hen stimulates her reproductive system which he wont be able to do properly if they're locked up.
  25. The sight of a contented pair of babies in the nest.
