  6. I once see something similar on TV at first the bloke said it was resting then he said it was stunned then he said it was pining for the fjords. WAKEY!!! WAKEY!!! Its not a Norwegian Blue is it by any chance ;D
  7. I would pop a cod liver oil tablet down her throat then place her in a basket and put in a warm place overnight. If she gets any worse in the next 24 hours there could be no comming back. In the meantime I would slip a pair of dummy egg in her nestbowl and encourage the cocks to sit these, if she picks up overnight put her back in her box and let her sit the eggs. By doing this she will get plenty of rest for the next 3 weeks without the cock driving her back to nest.
  8. Welcome Greywings. Enjoy the forum, enjoy the challenge and the bottom line is enjoy the pigeons.

    young birds

The odd pigeon may go into someone elses loft and not get reported but most pigeon folk are like yourself and do report them. Why your losing them is another question.
  10. Rain forecast for us Saturday down in the south east with the wind again from an easterly direction.

  18. West Essex Fed at Newark. Looking good
  19. Time on the wing I’ve found is more of a determining factor more than the distance flown, I would be hard pushed to find a couple of w/h cocks from my team to put in ten hours.
  20. I've found my pigeons hit top form 4-5 weeks after dropping their first flight. My naturals have just started to throw their first so fingers crossed
  21. Fermented Fruit!! This is all in French, so let me interpret for you before you watch the short clip. There is a fruit tree in the desert and all the animals love this fruit and just cannot wait for it to ripen and drop from the tree. Some animals help it along in dropping its fruit. As the fruit lays in the hot sun it begins to ferment, and I think that is enough to understand the rest of the story. http://humour.bluehaze.com.au/files/20090516_jungle_alcolo.wmv
  22. West Essex Fed at Newark 114 miles to me, sending 22 w/hood cocks and 18 naturals.
