so why do they breed them, are they breeding for quality or quantity,

if you breed sixty to seventy young birds or more (as some do)and all were good and still there at the end of racing, what would you do with that amount of birds each year ?????//

how it used to be

pigeon racing has changed a lot over the years, long ago birds were bred for Quallity now its quantity,(in some cases)it used to be a trapping match to clock in with birds homing together, now you get them in separate batches, (and ETS has made this a lot easier)
