if u can get a couple of eggs put them in the nest u will find she may sit and hatch them. i have a hen that does'nt lay and its handy for puting eggs to her.

it takes time, even then u get trouble i have all my birds settled most to nest boxes they have had for a couple of years, but still have 2 cocks that want to clear another nest, when u pair up u should try and fill all boxes at the same time, if a box is empty while others pair they get used to it being emty and cause havoc when u try to fill it.

is there no kennels for stray dogs near u, that's where i got mine 2 years ago a lovely border collie, great dog well trained, wherever it has come from, very friendly with everybody including children, follows the wife everywhere, i have had dogs all my life mostly german shepherds, but this is the best trained dog and intelegent i have ever had, was 4yrs old when i got her. and she has been spayed etc.
