it was called the Methil Power Station, yes it was powered by coal (DROSS) the crane used to lift it in to the furnace, its all due to be getting demolished,

don't think there is any in the dove cote in the letham glen iether now, i once told a councilor who was asking how to keep down the streeters,i told him they should keep a pigeon tower in town and they would all stay there and u could keep them under controll by taking eggs away from them.
the carrion crow when nesting will chase everything in the sky hawks included but it does'nt keep them away, and sometimes the crows are worse than the hawks, as they kill just to kill hawks kill to feed.
In Leven this morning at 0910hrs its broken white cloud with sun coming through, and a light sw wind, over the forth there is low mist, this is due to the sun getting warmer and the water still cold,
