what do you look for in the nest from day one hatchings, or how soon do you start to judge the youngsters: for health and taking a fancy too, any tips? what you looking for, feeding etc.

cant say for any of the rest as i have not had anything to do with them, and would be unfair to sa the one my club uses is best, but we use the unikon and find it first class nno problems, and easy to use also makes basketing, marking timing, and also training a lot more easy.

I think the feral pigeons history has changed over the years, i think now they are mostly down from the racing pigeon, just look how they did a few years ago and look at them now, more like racing birds now than they have ever been, this is caused by the many losses of racers going wild and joining the ferals and for years been breeding into them, before you just looked at a feral and new, now you look to see if its got a ring on,

they are ok, another nasty preventer is put a bit of crushed garlic under ur nest bowl.
