Chriss if i had the choice i wouldnt do darkness as i dont really believe it benifits them in the future but in truth you cant compete in the last 3 weeks of the season if they dont have a good wing. As a compremise i put the young hens on Darkness and the cocks on Natural. Stuart

Took some advice off Richard Green of Crowley and Green this year, he has given his birds a warm bath midweek before the big races and said they really benifit from it. Stuart

Somebody has emailed me and asked what strain this bird is and all i can say is these win over the channel, so i would say thats more important than strain but i believe you would call it Healterman x Noel Lippens. I got them years ago from a old guy called Dick Sparey, he had a loft full of Bricoux pigeons he said that some of them came from W Mcalphine, i thought they were Bricoux pigeons but i might be wrong.

Dovescot I know we have had are differences but at the end of the day we know who each other are probally agree to disagree on some things!!! The problem with people like Joe61 getting under everyones skin and abusing people is we are going to lose members as they havnt even got the balls to say who they are. This is a great site that has many interesting and imformative posts, many people recieve help and advice through this site and many friends are made. Threads such as the pigeon in the kitchen, Billy McKechnie, Arson attack in fife show what an important place and shop window for pigeon racing pigeon basics is. There are many many good people on this site and its obvious that we will not all get on all of the time but we must stop these mindless idiots coming onto the site under false names, pretending to someone or something and attacking all in sundry esp when its members who have been contributin for many years. I just dont see the point in it. This is a great place and we must all fit to keep it that way. Stuart
