I have around 12 youngbirds that will soon be available from my Frans Zwols Janssens, these super fast sprinters are really making a name for themselves in both Holland and the UK. I only raced 10 youngbirds in 2007 and they created records, I will offer brothers and sisters to these 10 supers including brothers and sister to Champion Little Blue and Champion Blue Leader, they will be for sale in two kits of 6. At £50 each, these would make ideal stock or race birds. Will split if required. Boomerang Firstly im very sorry for your loss!!!! Im sure between us on this site we can find a way of getting you flying with young birds again even if its just the last few. People who bully and threaten often do nothing esp when they talk about heavies, that often shows they have no ability or courage to do there own work!! Even too 19 stoners couldnt tackle the lot of us if we stick together!! Stuart

Vic I once visited a Belguim fancier, he wasnt that well known but well regarded by the locals who feed 5 times a day, little feeds, once in the morning, then exercise again afterwards, his wife feed a little at dinner time, them when he got home from work a lite feed exercise and then when they come in as much as they wanted. He believed he could get more in them this way and that there metabolisam was higher. He had some super results from 300 - 500 miles and only sends 2 or 3 and he would always get 1 or 2 in the top 100. He was 2nd Nat Castres season before last sending only 2 pigeons his 2nd was 70th.

Alot of evidence was presented to the panel and that included evidence from the Race Sec, WOESRC, Committee Members and myself. Weather conditions, results of our combine, other combines flying from east to west that day and past history. It was a short race with a short flying time which was also taken into account. There was in fact 17,605 pigeons released that morning flying the same route back into the west country and south wales, the pigeon that was removed was 100,s of yard in front of all of them, the 2nd fastest pigeon and the 3rd fastest which mine and won the WOESRC was seperated by a yard. Spencer please comment as you will but be careful that its correct, evidence was presented to the WOESRC at a meeting but there wasnt a rule to decide the outcome so the RPRA was asked to make the final hearing. By all means discuss improbable velocities but please leave my actual case out of it as the other party may still appeal. I have sat down with many officals and top fanciers both in our combine and out of it and they all agreed the velocity was improbable, these are people i respect and if any of them would have said stuart your wrong then i would have dropped it. I wont be posting on this topic again. Stuart

Thats true delboy!!!!!
-
thanks for the advice! stuart

Joe61 if you would like an explanation then ask the RPRA they passed the judgement. Joe 61 why do you have two accounts????

What do we do with latebreds????? I have about 15 that have been trained and my plan was to send them to the first 4 inland races and then take stock and plan from there but it seems so many get lost on these first few races when its cold etc. Problem is after 4 races we are over the water most weeks? Has anybody found a may that works for latebreds??? I want to test and educate them but i would also like to be fair, as some of them have matured into fairly nice birds!!! Stuart
-
Well done!!! nice to get a topper out of the way early!!
-
Well done, pigeons will take u up one minute and down the next!!!! Its what makes it a great sport.
-
Its impossible based on the grounds of improbability!! Enjoy your games!!!!
-
LT, i have spent months going over this case and now that its over i dont really want to go through it again, it was mainly a problem that our combine didnt have any rules in place to deal with appeals!!
-
Sorry lads i should say why, it didnt concern my birds or me but a fancier who was removed from the result on the grounds of his velocity being improbable. Vic At first im a pigeon fancier and if you cant be proud of a result like that whats the point in flying at all??

At Last Today I was finally awarded 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 7th West of England South Road Combine Chale 3651birds by the RPRA Council. Its been a long fight and it has taken the shine off my dream performance but im still very proud. I would like to thank the East Midlands for hearing my case and voting 18 – 4 in my favour, it was very professionally dealt with. No time to rest on my laurels, next week brings a new challenge and I always believe you are only as good as your last race. I’m still thrilled though. Stuart Wilcox
