Lads Rory/Chriss etc i believe you make a very very valid proposal regarding results, breeding and information from a seller, however is might have been better to make it a seperate post for debate as Jak Jak may believe you have invaded his space a little. The most important thing is that we discuss these things in the correct way and in the correct forum so that we can try and keep things calm. Jak Jak just a wee note, you have offered these birds now £100 a pair which i believe is very very good value, i notice this week in the BHW ybs for £120 each from the same lines, so in my opion if you were looking for Van De Merwe pigeons you would have benifited from being a PB member by having access to this offer. Its all about getting a benifit from being a PB member, maybe by making friends, learning, discussion, knowing early times and results, picking up a pigeon or too for the right price?? Stuart

xtc I visited Frank Tasker a few weeks ago and he had a real strong team of hens!! He told me that it was usual for his hens to out race his cocks on a regular basis, it seemed to be a system he had flown for some years. Stuart

Frans is a very nice old guy who doesnt clean out and doesnt work to hard with his pigeons due to being a doctor, he gets some very good results against 1000's of pigeons flying against the likes of Koopman, Vredeveld, Berends, Lahuis, Lotterman etc and he is the first to admit he isnt the best in Afd 10, but his pigeons win for others and they win for me and thats what i believe is the most important fact. And Andrew check the dates, 2004, 2005, 2006, no pre milenium results please. As a non racing fancier Andrew it must be nice to dream you can win everything every week but in reality it just doesnt work that way, Frans does dominate that combine but then again nor does Koopman!!!! Its the most over used word in Pigeon Racing!!!! Raymond won the National in Holland from St Vincent from nearly 700 miles. On that day 37,239b were entered and that was the only long distance race permitted on that day in Holland, young, old, pro novice were allowed to enter there birds through there club/combine network, there wasnt a single distance flyer that didnt have a bird in that race!! Every transporter simply goes to the same race point and libs together. NOW THATS A NATIONAL!!! Sad thing is, we in this country can run such a blue event if it was lead from the top.

Took 1st 3rd 4th and 5th yesterday with 4 Frans Zwols Janssens x Moleveld Janssens. The 1st was g-children of Eagle Boy who now has 3 x 1sts, Little Blues 1/2 brother was my 2nd pigeon and Little Blue was my 3rd, he has already won 1st Combine 3651b and 3rd Combine 3100b. Hope no-one minds me keeping you updated its just that these birds have me excited, ive never been a sprinter but these just seem to bomb home. Stuart

As i always pointed out to you Andrew i hate the way you bend the truth to sell your pigeons, im giving up, must reduce, taking a loft down, selling for a friend, etc etc I have always tried to offer you advice and most of the time you have ignored it!!! Sell your pigeons by all means but stop trying to add these sob stories to it. Im now going to give you one more bit of advice, you sell your pigeons mainly by internet so you have come up with conclusion, that pretty colours along with a photo will give you a reasonable chance!! And you are right but in most cases an experience fancier will look for RESULTS and only RESULTS. Many people judge a pigeons quality by many things but the main factor is SUCCESS, the sort of success K Hitchcock & Son achieved when they were flying. The families that you offered now hardly have a result between them and most of them are from non flying fanciers. Get back to good old racing pigeons with good results and add them to your PC and internet skills and presentation and i believe you could make a better go of things. Remember Genuine Pigeons make Genuine Money. No Huff no Fluff just good honest pigeons that will give people a chance on a fare day, thats what the guys on Pigeon Basic are looking for. Stuart
