picked up your doo yesterday morning, the staff at falcon centre did a great job in looking after your doo . decent size cage , good mixture and plenty water for it, maybe a wee phone call of thanks to them? and she made me sign for it.... what name will i put on the box and where are your doo's next sat?

remember they are bairns for 6 weeks of there racing life....keep them healthy....get them trained....get them fit....and hope for decent race days for them.....its not all bad doos that go missing in there first season.....just put 4 stitches in to a wee hen last night cos the water was running out of her as fast as she was drinking it...bright as a button when a came home from work tonight.

canny say i have heard of a pad splitting......plenty duff rings....and few clocks going flat half way through the season tho.....

ok but you have been told..might be east/north/east

if pad has a split in it ..dry it out ..then seal it up with a bit of silicone rubber which will stay flexible when weather changes

the late dave benvies wife kept doos on after he passed away we were at lancaster 135mls to us when we put her doos through this wee doo squeaked when i picked itup. i told margaret and she told me it has been coming great in training it goes......... bloody thing won the race

have said for the last 10/15 years localised weather is as much to blame as bop for some of our crap races...we cant do nowt about either ...but when we actually know the weather is against us ..then a degree of flexibility is required ....in this day and age we have too look after what we have got...ie the hard core doo men not much more coming through 500/600 mls racing will allways be tough on the doos but we have to optimise what we have at our disposal, weather forecasts, delaying basketing , bringing basketing forward a day. we never sent , none good enough at the moment , but a big well done too all who timed and got birds home from a very tough race . read some of the post regarding the controlling of the race , believe all they guys would have doos on the lorry, including john mcord . how many guys on here have actually controlled a race ??? I have once and was shiting myself and it was only a wee get together toss we turned into a race from 100mls.. after the dust has settled i hope there are many questions to be asked at the agm ...sure it wont bring the doos back ... but it will let other folk step up and offer there services as controllers. jmo

Maybe a different class of fancier ower here Bobby . we didnt have the same probs you boys had , kinda sare when it gets all brought back to surface .....but....if you ..(and i mean anybody) are right ,,stand firm. I have a reputation for having a big mouth.....true..and a spade is a spade, but, at some point if we want to keep flying doos, we WILL have joint convoying. WE have all worked beside boys we dont see eye to eye to....so what...we do not sit beside them at lunch time..but we work along side them day in and day out....why?....ECONOMICS> Come on boys ...have a wee think..ABOUT THE DOOS....
