  1. Sounds Good to me aswell.
  2. There good pigeon no doubt,i once had a g.dtr off de boer and the web hen i think they were called and she bred me some really fast pigeons, ime not knocking there birds as they are good, and there not old fashioned as they still fly there heads off winning many 1st prizes.
  3. Good luck mate.
  4. Dont need to race them as young birds to make them into good old birds, train them steady on your own line and just let them have a good moult, personally if i hadnt sent them upto now,i would put them into racing now especially with a lot of youngsters missing every week, get them as far as you can graig by yourself and educate them your way,and thats to get home on line.
  5. when they were ries & moore they bought all there best breeders from a.d.hunnisett sadly now passed away, they went to him for there stock and when they started winning with there birds old mr hunniset never got a mention, thats how genuin they are,Theres an old saying,,,give credit were credit is due,not so for mr hunniset.Mr alan hunniset had some of the very best janssens around and there were many birds that left his loft to be breeders of multiple fed winners, incuding national winners.Les

    Orange Egg

Ive had on really yellow colouring,i think it was down to putting aqeus iodine in there water night before.
  7. Too much i think, for his age and one that has never been tried for breeding.
  8. i had a pure white hen off roland janssen (pure white) she had a very nice pillar box red eye and her circle around the pupil was old gold, if i still had her i would put a photo up of her and her eye.
  9. well said alan, if there are 6 positions in the club, then you should be able to time 6 in if theres 4 then time 4 in,its sill timing any more in.
  10. agree with you jade, why time ten in if theres only limited prizes
  11. are they the ganus grizzles hyacinth.
  12. i agree 100% with bewted,i have always had a small team of races and before i started working shifts i could beat most of the mob flyers in out region, but training is the most important start in there lifes, train wrong and yes you will loose them, train smart and wise and youl keep them, people keep too many youngsters and cannot treat them as they should and over crowd their lofts, but i must admit there as been some very poor returns this last 2 weeks so were are they all going, are any getting reported ? has anybody seen the frank shearder dvd theres a fancier on there who dusnt race his youngsters and they top the u.n.c as yearlings.makes you think dusnt it.
  13. Keep em going bud.
  14. as soon as your happy with them bud,and feel you have educated them to home fast without any mistakes,i have bred pigeons and they have never seen a basket as a young bird and year after have been in the first 3 in the combine winning many cards.
  15. Good idea .but what about north roaders, they will still clash with south roaders, you cannot put a time limit on for both sides because no matter what they will meet up somewere along the line of flight, plus feds thet are behind you on race days somtimes catch the other feds up,our birds have been liberated early in the morning at 6.46 am and we have still had bad returns,so there is no clashing there. This saturday we let go at 8.15 we still had bad losses and not been seen again so whats the real answer behind losses.
  16. nice one clockman ive just spilt my tea pissing myself laughting.
  17. try and keep them off his roof,if you can adjust there food so they come straight down when they land on the roof,or even better have them trapping straight into the loft.I think you might have given them a bad habbit from the start and need to get them out of it.
  18. ive already got some bud, they look and handle well, remind me of the janssen vanden bosch way that they are shaped.dont know if i will keep them though as i like the janssens i have .

  23. sorry pender ime not an advert,i have had them and recently sold them on,plus he does not need attention aswell, hes a racing man not a stud, just an ordinary working class bloke with top birds and a small set up.Hes had them for many years now off roland so if its for the money he would have done it a few years ago,Dusnt make sense what ur waffling on about.
