  1. Good to see the English rugby side playing good controlled rugger. That slap on the wrist did them the world of good....

  3. I hope no one believes that! Some birds never get trained in first year or two... These win out of turn and are consistant as yearlings (Some only one or two races and a couple of tosses. Some nothing till two year olds. These have won High Pau position -Sections etc. in Nationals having first race as two year olds. Indeed many don't race y/b's. Like the Widowerhood hens, many are never raced but breed great birds... Many breed early and put old rings on and race O/b season with them with great results...
  4. A Police STOP at 2 AM An elderly man is stopped by the police around 2 a.m. and is asked where he is going at this time of night. The man replies, "I am on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as smoking and staying out late." The officer then asks, "Really? Who is giving that lecture at this time of night?" The man replies, "That would be my wife."

    Scotland'S Woe

Going out , naw waving the Jocks Non Voyeage, On a serious note, I wish it would be different and that they beat the Argies... and per usual rely on of English to do them some favours ... yet again lol.
  6. A more than capable flyer too, a well above average one! A nice gent with a wealth of practical expierence ... from when I have converse with him. Yes, this sport can well do not to lose as such. All the best Mike in whatever you participate in in future, you will be missed.

    Scotland'S Woe

Sammy, we will see what we see, and afraid Scotland aren't good enough and won't progress any further.... Now that must be plain enough eh! There I'm waving yous goodbye

    Scotland'S Woe

That's the problem Frank, as I see it. The argies are the worlds best now at keeping the ball, and they won't let Scotland have much to do with it. Scotland have lost any ability now of penetrating sides and I think Scotland will be lucky to get 10 points ... Whereas the Argentinians will amass at least 31. Am I worried regards Englasnd, well everyone have can have bad days and times so yes that is always a possibility at the back of ones' mind... But when getting slack of the manager for careless play etc. when winning well... Well that augers well at least for us doesn't it.
  9. I fear for Scotland against the Argentinian rugby side match coming up. Sadly I honestly can't see them winninmg this one. Best thay can hope for is third place in the table, which of course won't be enough. Really hope I'm wrong but ....
  10. I picked up three from 'Non Fanciers' inside 4 days just a little while ago as I posted. Have been called on umpteen times over the past years. Locals fanciers pee me off even more... they want me to travell 2 -3 times farther than them to retrieve birds Often saying they are at work in daytime... So next year / seaon, I ma telling the Fed sec, President to leave me out of those! Will collect local town Full stop. Isn't the time, fuel etc. so much as being used by ungratefull ignorant fanciers. Upset one fancier big time that refused to even contact me after the RPRA had sent him my details... had his mobile on it's leg but as he didn't recognise the number wouldn't answer. after constantley ringing him non stop for a few hours he answer and said he'd just walked in! ON a mobile. Then he'd meant to contact me to say he didn't want the bird and would I do the 'Honours'!!! . I said fine, but tough, as I didn't think it was a 'Honour' and that if he didn't arrange it's return within 3 days I was sending C.O.D. by courier. He was gobsmacked and peeved off to say the least. Amazes me how it is always their best bust that get lost! This was supposedly bred for him directlyby Jansenns in his own loft!
  11. Agree with most. I also, as you know Mark, take great pains to get birds back to fanciers that don't want then, or better still can afford to keep them JUST, but not to lose them. How many having, say lost 35, in a fly away can / could afford them all to be brought back? Very few I'd wager. As for lack of training and teaching our feathered friends how to do what we haven't the faintest idea how they do it, is unreal to say the least. Once allowed to complete their Ranging / roaming, and are kept conditioned, then there is nothing you can do to help them. To think otherwise is pure folly. Even more to the point if a bird can home fro 20 - 50 miles it can from anywhere, depending on fitness and the wanting to home. - Now that there is the biggest irk in our fancy, HAVING contented birds that WANT to home! I remember the cussing when many didn't or could afford to train, and just sent - maybe a couple of 20 milers - how those that sent to Breaking Points, and toiled the road with worn out tire complained of being beaten nigh every week! It’s a fact! Then how their' birds brought the winner home and showed them the way... yep from well behind. The scenario is rife with such, and very many successful fanciers never train a bird more than 20 miles tops, young or old. All we do is put miles under their wings, to get them race fit as so called to suit us... The how is the trick many never need to if their’ birds are loft fit and kept fresh!

    Bakes

Ferret season is on us, beside the running dogs, so I have no doubt his time will be taken up .... But am suprised often how little he visit, not on this but other sites. Perhap afte his mishaps the ardour has worn off.
  13. There,Babybird, you have just given me another dimmension to my loft, - That I'd forgot, and will work a treat. I have had to, or at least need to change my doors from sliders, and also be able for them to be fed and watered from the outside so I can have a few days away next season camping / visiting etc. whilst still able lol. If the doors jam some may find it too hard to do etc. Glad I popped in lol.
  14. Maybe, sad that. But sadder still is the fact they could breed some, or just go to a Fur and Feather market where the Asians buy them for pence for eating purposes...
  15. Well done to all concerned. Took another look at loft to get my head around it - doors openwhich leaves a inner wire mesh door. Then another looksea, and thanks because it has given me a solution to the way my new loft alterations will go.

    Right Result.

A man, with an oxygen facemask on, lies in a hospital bed. He beckons the nurse over and asks. ‘Are my testicles black’? The nurse smiles knowingly and precedes to lifts up the covers from the bottom and works up till she gentle takes hold of his penis and lifting it up. Then with the other had she moves his testicles about peering closely. After a while she again smiles and says ‘No they are not black’. The man beckons her closer and says ‘Thank you very much, that was very nice of you… now listen carefully, I said ‘are my test-results- back’.
  17. Ditto, credit where credit is due, fantastic ... I am proud of them. Has to be the best 'Home' team performance so far eh! Shows once again, like I spouted when they beat England, a wealth of expierence takes all the beating, and they are past masters now of not letting the opposition play. Like Ashton did with the English in the last world cup.

    With An Hole

a teacher gave all the children a packet of flavoured coloured polo sweets. The children began to identify the flavours by their color: Red......................Cherry Yellow...................Lemon Green...................Lime Orange ...............Orange Finally the teacher gave them all HONEY lifesavers. None of the children could identify the taste. The teacher said, 'I will give you all a clue. It's what your Mother may sometimes call your father.' One little girl looked up in horror, spit her lifesaver out and yelled, 'Oh my God! They're *expletive removed*-holes! The teacher had to leave the room.
  19. Ego's and greed... mainly by them that are more affluent in both Money and Position. They won't allow any drag that might give the slightest help in a better playing field. Like Portland. We keep pressing for a different lib site as it is litually team with Percys awaiting liberations... But those that have an advantage on the East side won't hear of it... AND WHAT! give away any advantage we have! Not on your nelly. So costs then also become irrelevant. Wil / would take an concerted effort from the floor and a 'Special Meeting' called. But the 'Followers won't... can't upset them that flourish at their expence every season now can one! JMO
  20. Nah Owen, I think he had two eyes, both working lol. But again they SHOULD use the TMO, especially as it it there and has done a good job.
  21. Typical Scots eh! Even though I can't understand the Scottish Lingo, it was funny lol.
  22. Both birds look a treat and are a credit to you both. Stan, do these mix well with your Bussearts, or do you keep them seperate. Of course Bussearts are a great mix in themselves eh!
  23. JMO. But I think, and on the face of it, Wales' has possibly been the best performance of the home nations! (As loathed as I am to say ity lol ... as SA are always a team hard to beat. Time will tell of course wether they are this season. Argentina have improved tremedously over the last ten years. No two way about that, and are argueably a very good side... especially when holding onto the ball, restricting any good play against them. Scotland.... well with even the help of the English they seem to struggle
  24. Trying again lol. You need to click on the pictures to see them ... I believe and hope lol. untitled cow.bmpWE MAY BE IN WORSE SHAPE THAN WE THOUGHT ...UN-KILLED HAMBURGER? UNKILLED HAMBURGER MEAT Note To All Hunters: This is from a San Francisco newspaper Beef Add..bmp Folks, just remember as you read this, this person probably votes... AND may have already reproduced!!! untitled cow.bmp
  25. Well I'll be dog gone. Often tried tp work it out. Thanks Greenlands. A bit jerky an operation till I get the smooth expierence. Thanks again.
