When out will certainly go back to where the gentleman caught it. Especially if tossed or raced. If you feel it could produce something worth while then by all means put it in the stock loft. You will never race, let alone win with it, as it will return to where caught. Mind always a first time I guess :emoticon-0138-thinking: I think that the bird has certainly been living wild. never a 100% sure, but certainly 99.9% it has been. We can't condition a bird anywhere near as good at the wild and mother nature.

http://biertijd.com/mediaplayer/?itemid=30018 A cop stops a guy on a Harley for speeding, so he asks the biker his name. 'Fred,' he replies. 'Fred what?' the officer asks. 'Just Fred,' the man responds. The officer is in a good mood and thinks he might just give the biker a break and, write him out a warning instead of a ticket. The officer then presses him for the last name. The man tells him that he used to have a last name but lost it. The officer thinks that he has a nutcase on his hands but plays along with it. 'Tell me, Fred, how did you lose your last name?' The biker replies, 'It's a long story, so stay with me.' I was born Fred Johnson. I studied hard and got good grades. When I got older, I realized that I wanted to be a doctor. I went through college, medical school, internship, residency, and finally got my degree, so I was Fred Johnson, MD. After a while I got bored being a doctor, so I decided to go back to school. Dentistry was my dream! Got all the way through school, got my degree, so then I was Fred Johnson, MD, DDS. Got bored doing dentistry, so I started fooling around with my assistant and she gave me VD, so now I was Fred Johnson, MD, DDS, with VD. Well, the ADA found out about the VD, so they took away my DDS. Then I was Fred Johnson, MD, with VD. Then the AMA found out about the ADA taking away my DDS because of the VD, so they took away my MD leaving me as Fred Johnson with VD. Then the VD took away my Johnson, so now I am just Fred.' The officer walked away in tears, no ticket.

These are a bit dear. But good for one to get the gist of. I can get the 5 metre v a foot for £6! Now if one had a 16 .5 ft by 7 ft 6inches, thenand say 8 foot high at the back and 7 foot at the front. That would be £48 x 2 for back and sides. Plus £18 for front. Total there about £110... plus 6£60 tops for doors etc. Yes a root prove and very long lasting, weather proof 16 x 8 loft for well under under£200. Ok spoli yourselves with another £150 and the creme de la creme eh! :egyptian: :egyptian:

A very good realistic post! Two minds... even the governing bodies are arsked to take action. But it depends on the owning fanciers attitude surely. If they answer quickly, and are ok with it / you, but would rather - like many actually just release it up the road, (which gives another a problem)or wishes it to be gone, then yes help out. The reality is very many struggle to keep their sport alive, let alone afford the cost of losing them. Yes can scarley afford to keep, but definately not able to afford to lose any! Simple realistic fact that! Before anyone spouts rubbish about 'Then they shouldn't keep them in the first place, I ask 'Why'! It is a love of the sport that makes 95% keeping birds in the first place. Further when change happens we will want and need them. And let me just add that those who are struggling are often the very ones supporting and holding the club / Fed together... Yesd the very ones most likely the same ones that the whinger is only too happy to beat most weeks. Mind this doesn't in anyway distract the shame of the ignorant gits that don't bother to reply till they have too.... then I scare the crap out of them via threathening to sent the bird 'Cash on Delivery' ... if only it was viable and fair to the courier eh! :emoticon-0138-thinking: P.s. I travell upto and just over 100 miles to retrieve mine.... gives me and the wife a day out and is cheaper, but then I have time.

Yep, or have a plain colour or white solid as no effects on back.

I think gal that many won't bother with this years rung birds anyway regards sex. Besides MOST will have a deckers at birds before and decide what and which they like. They will have a pretty good idea what sex they are and will be buying. One needs only to put 'Sex not Guarenteed on cage and job done.

Bigda, you're right as I often post on here. Regards the Cladding plastic. It looks like tongue and groove. Many different coulours and at 5 metres x a foot for £6, rot proof, weather proof, light and eassy to use and cut. Corner bits too for nice finishing it has to be the way forward. Many have copied mine now, and most say 'Not before time'. Chip board from any where that has packing is free too for great inside work / floors etc.

Want to understand the Eurozone's finances...And, the USA's for that matter? Here is it explained using a simple story ... Mary is the proprietor of a bar in Dublin. She realises that virtually all of her customers are unemployed alcoholics and, as such, can no longer afford to patronise her bar. To solve this problem, she comes up with a new marketing plan that allows her customers to drink now, but pay later. She keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting the customers loans). Word gets around about Mary's "drink now, pay later" marketing strategy and, as a result, increasing numbers of customers flood into Mary's bar. Soon she has the largest sales volume of any bar in Dublin. :emoticon-0167-beer: By providing her customers freedom from immediate payment demands, Mary gets no resistance when, at regular intervals, she substantially increases her prices for wine and beer, the most consumed beverages. Consequently, Mary's gross sales volume increases massively. A young and dynamic vice-president at the local bank recognises that these customer debts constitute valuable future assets and increases Mary's borrowing limit. He sees no reason for any undue concern, since he has the debts of the unemployed alcoholics as collateral. At the bank's corporate headquarters, expert traders figure a way to make huge commissions, and transform these customer loans into DRINKBONDS, ALKIBONDS and PUKEBONDS. These securities are then bundled and traded on international security markets. Naive investors don't really understand that the securities being sold to them as AAA secured bonds are really the debts of unemployed alcoholics. Nevertheless, the bond prices continuously climb, and the securities soon become the hottest-selling items for some of the nation's leading brokerage houses. One day, even though the bond prices are still climbing, a risk manager at the original local bank decides that the time has come to demand payment on the debts incurred by the drinkers at Mary's bar. He so informs Mary. Mary then demands payment from her alcoholic patrons, but being unemployed alcoholics they cannot pay back their drinking debts. Since, Mary cannot fulfill her loan obligations she is forced into bankruptcy. The bar closes and the eleven employees lose their jobs. Overnight, DRINKBONDS, ALKIBONDS and PUKEBONDS drop in price by 90%. The collapsed bond asset value destroys the banks liquidity and prevents it from issuing new loans, thus freezing credit and economic activity in the community. The suppliers of Mary's bar had granted her generous payment extensions and had invested their firms' pension funds in the various BOND securities. They find they are now faced with having to write off her bad debt and with losing over 90% of the presumed value of the bonds. Her wine supplier also claims bankruptcy, closing the doors on a family business that had endured for three generations, her beer supplier is taken over by a competitor, who immediately closes the local plant and lays off 150 workers. Fortunately though, the bank, the brokerage houses and their respective executives are saved and bailed out by a multi-billion euro no-strings attached cash infusion from their cronies in Government. The funds required for this bailout are obtained by new taxes levied on employed, middle-class, non-drinkers who have never been in Mary's bar. Now, do you understand economics in 2010-11? :emoticon-0157-sun: :egyptian:

Exactly! So lets pretend that rooney's greatness bears merit and others aren't good enough around him ... then it proves my point ... Forget him and lets have a worker / thinker that the others can relate to and play with. :egyptian: Greasoe was the best by far on ratio to games. Was slagged off via Ramsey and many others for being Lazy. But was there to score. Likewise Gento ... only averages 29 .5 seconds on the ball, but scored! Rooney can't, and doesn't.
-
Messi is there to be counted. Distracts and makes room and goals for others... So yes he is worth his place, wieght in gold. Further like Rooney he is world class at club level... internationals means 2 - 3 have to keep an eye on him. But tell me just when did Rooney E4VER shine or do anything good for England... More chance Rooney adding 5 plus six than stating when he has excelled. Always let down badly when needed most... Giving away penalities sending off.. The brain dead creatin thinks the Refs are the same as ref Man U lol :emoticon-0136-giggle: No have too many chances and has proved overwhemingly that he has notghing to offer England. Quicker shot of and forgotten the better.
-
DWH, I agree and have stated that Rooney is not only a great player, but world class... But not for internationals. When I think about it, seriously, let's be honest here, the old brigade have had their chances galore and proved themselves - wouldn't say useless but not far off. Too big headed and disrespectful and a sham. Very much lacking in pride at that... I know their chant ;We have a ferrari so F*** you'. Then look at the youngsters coming throiugh. They do as asked for starters as they proved against Spain. Boring maybe, but then not only got the result of not being beat, but won! And some more good ones too. They play fearlessly, and for each over. All Rooney's ever done is give away penalties - what the heck he was / doe / doing there as a up front supposedly lone striker one never knows. Gets sent of, and rarely scores. Some say - stupidly in my opinion - that is because he is so good that other team mates are up to his standard :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136- If that was so, then all the more reason to get shot off eh! Daglish, Barnes, even Shearer who went nearly 40 games without scoring, proved to be good Club players full stop, but failed miserably at international level. Gosh just how many chances does Rooney want to prove he's not up to it!

Irish Towel Waving. Some years ago, in a small coastal Irish community, Paddy married a woman. Maggie, half his age, All was well at first until Maggie took delivery of a 'woman's' magazine and began to read things about sex. It soon became clear that she had never climaxed during sex and, according to her Grandmother, all Irish women are entitled to a climax once in a while. To resolve the problem, Paddy and Maggie went to see the Veterinarian since there was no doctor within thirty miles who could be relied upon not to gossip. However, the Vet didn't have a clue about people. But he did recall during hot summers, his mother and father would fan a cow (with a big towel) that was having difficulty breeding. Apparently, this cooled her down and helped her to relax. So he recommended they hire a strong, young man to wave a big towel over them while they were having sex. This, the Vet said, should cause the young wife to cool down, relax and possibly achieve the sought after climax. So the couple hired a strong young man from Dublin to wave a huge bath towel over them as the Vet suggested after many efforts, Maggie still had not climaxed so they went back to the Vet who suggested she change partners and let the young man have a go while Paddy waved the big towel. They tried it that night and Maggie went into wild, screaming, ear-splitting climaxes, one right after the other for about two and a half hours. When it was over, Paddy looked down at the exhausted young man and in a boasting voice shouted, "And dat, me auld son, is how ya wave a feckin' towel"!!

Yep. But the 'Old Guard' so to speak have had chances galore, and just haven't performed, or been upto the job. A new broom has been needed for quite some time. But I'm am really suprised Cappello hasn'r had the balls to face 'Public' crap and got shot of. the silly media talk regards might still take Rooney ... I bet he is silently rubbing his hands in delight. Why I think possiblt Gerrard could stay in as he is actually very inspirational and lifts a team... especially good for young blood which will respect him. He is and has been a good role model to boot... Unlike the other shower ...

No one etc. Man U. or any other club. Yes is a world class club player... full stop. Best thing ever to happen for England is his banns for being what he is, an arrogant self centre moron, who lives above his reality statues. He's not playing for Man U and favoured bias refs. But not England Like the players has stated. He hasn't got the temperament or brain power to do the job. Fine when training with club mates who are revolving round each other. Some spout the rubbish that the others aren't good enough to read his game. Well, the opposite is doubly true, he isn't clever enough to read the TEAM'S game ESPECIALLY after the manager spells it out week in and week out every time they get together. Now we have Sturrigde for a try out. Think he and Walbeck would be great and fearless. Just look at the depth of talent coming through the under 21's who have done so well. Yes time for the big pond I believe. Terry, Lampard, Ferdinand etc. should be gone. Gerrand if recovered and fit would be the only one of the Old Brigade' left I believe. The side on Saturday played for a draw, or decent result. THEY played as a Team ... a team that Rooney couldn't even begin to understand, neither his ego that the Team are supposedly to play for him. Ok. Saturday was a great result and up builder, but there is of course a long way to go. Plus many more good youngsters are to be tried and tested. They did as they were told and stuck to a game plan ... again something Rooney couldn't even begin to understand. They were fearless... and the under dogs which took a little pressure of them no doubt, but the pressure was they to do well and as told, so they came through with flying colours. Yes wasn't good to watch, but hey, it's the result that matters eh. And still a few great youngsters coming through.

Get my Latebreds upto 400 - 450 miles and build a team for the next year. Plus decide where to house, or keep, the stock birds after they have done their' job. But think 'I'll keep'. Cost a lot of money, down to me now I guess to get the best out of them.

I thought this might interest some. I took it from 'Alberta Classic' site. Dear Pigeon Fanciers, I am honored to announce that "The Pigeoneers" has been reviewed by Brigadier General Gill P. Beck, U.S. Army Reserve. Brigadier General Gill P. Beck is the Commanding General, United States Army Reserve Legal Command, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Recently, BG Gill Beck has received a nomination for promotion to Major General and was announced as the next Commanding General, 81st Regional Support Command. BG Gill Beck was awarded a Bronze Star for actions during the Global War on Terror. Bronze Star citation below. Bronze Star Awarded for actions during the Global War on Terror The President of the United States of America, authorized by Executive Order 11046, 24 August 1962, takes the pleasure of presenting the Bronze Star Medal to Colonel Gill P. Beck, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious service during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM during the period from 2 January 2005 to 14 June 2005, as Staff Judge Advocate, Task Force 134, Multi-National Force-Iraq, during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. His exceptional leadership resulted in increasing by 300% the prosecutions handled by the Central Criminal Court of Iraq, which is responsible for judging all suspected insurgents detained by Coalition Forces in the Iraq Theater of Operations. By ensuring that convicted terrorism sentences increased by 400%, he prevented attacks on Coalition Forces in the future. This also substantially contributed to the re-establishment of the Rule of Law in Iraq, the centerpiece of Government legitimacy and a key component of the Multi-National Force-Iraq's Campaign Plan. Additionally, Colonel Beck doubled the production of the Combined Review and Release Board which substantially enhanced Multi-National Force-Iraq's partnership with the Iraqi government. His actions are in keeping with the finest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, this command, the Multi-National Force-Iraq, and the United States Army. Review of “The Pigeoneers†By BG Gill P. Beck, U.S. Army Reserve “The Pigeoneers†is a documentary film by Al Croseri that tells a great Army story about a thinking and adaptive Soldier, the type of Soldier who has always given the United States Army its edge in combat and in preparation for combat. This Army story is told through the eyes of Colonel Clifford A. Poutre, who at the time of filming was well over one hundred years old. The documentary film captures in a poignant manner the professionalism of Colonel Poutre and the passion he had for the United States Army Signal Corps Pigeon Service and his trusted pigeons. “The Pigeoneers†reveals the commitment of a true Soldier, who as a child growing up near Saratoga, New York, slept on the floor, in his mind, to toughen his body for what he reviewed was his calling – service to our Nation in the United States Army. Like most Soldiers, he joined the Army not for glory or to obtain rank but rather to serve a higher, noble cause, the defense of our beloved country – the United States of America.
