Having many pm's regards a cheap electric fence I have decided it would be simpler to post asa to reply individually. A farmer told me how to do this a few years back - in a country store, and the store owner confirmed it! One can buy one for less than £10 now adays. Plastic / or rubber are good insulators and easy found... a bit of an ole hose pipe. Some rub sardines on the wire first off, to entice a nose on it... but I have never bothered. They can smell electric apparently, and they certainly gety the gist once it touches them. They are legal, and if in own yard no notice is needed to be put up. I have mine running around the loft … three strands now, but one four inches high suvices as they'll crawll under with their tail up. They nevber come back, and aren't hurt in the slightest.

So would I. But the real money will undoubtedly be on Mayweather. After all the hype, shinagions etc. the public is as up for it now as it will ever be. And both are getting older. I see the SNP leader is cocking up the referendum vote. Just a straight Yes or no would suffice. If in doubt let the English vote as well. 90% of them would be in agreement. But he seems to want nothing to do with it now, and is putting obstacles in the way. Wants the reality vote of Yes, then get terms sorted. But to try and get certain terms before anyone knows / hopes whether it will get passed is ludicrous. OK he wants Scotland to be freed from any National debt - some hope. He want us to give him the oil, which of course will never happen - and he well knows that, besides only 3% investment is Scottish. He also wants the English subsidy to carry on. In real terms he wants his cake and eat it. He wants complete independence - so do we for the Scots, but wants a bail out, handouts and further subsidising. He knows that can't, nor ever can happen.... So in real terms he 'Talks the Talk' but doesn't want the walk. Yes I suppose the realities are too much for him.... but a great vote catcher. Yet he is / has backed himself into a corner. Think he thought the brits wouldn’t grant it…

In Canada, agree the flyers are more than well apart, they have used the GPS for yonks. They also allow the convoyer, if of nescate, to move from the allocated lib site and send the secs / member the place / cordinates of where they have been released from. A boon her that wouild be too, especially in view of cramp sites and B.O.P etc. Also they can verify their times via Email which are checked a validated on the next shipping noght. Gosh we are in the 21st centuary, and all the governing bodies want to know is.... 'Can we make money....' Time, while I'm at it, for the governing bodies to enforce sensible ET rings. Depends on Wind directions and any alterations after shortest flyers. Personally the sooner in the better and less chance of anything untowards happening. It is from A to B after all. Think tis why many move loft locations.... many new clubs formed as some make excuses in search of being a 'Winner'. No level playing field outside of 'No Wind'... Then of courser the longer they fly, more the handicap eh!

Well after all the ballo Perterson has backed out of a return after all. Says - and as there was no illegal rematch clause - that he wants to fight ... Easier opponents. Don't blame him there either. Can say like some that 'He has bad mouthed me, and so I won't fight him'! Many do the same and make a lot more money than the would otherwise by avoiding better opponents.... As I've often quoted. So that is why Khan is striving so hard for the ruling bodies to take a hand in getting a rematch. Had some big pay days ahead if he hadn't lost his title. AND DID / was doing as Hatton and Calzaghe did, but that is out the window as of now. He will be fighting foes that want a shot at the title and he will be just a stepping stone if not careful.

Some good posts there. Mostly 100% true, or there abouts. It is the 'Behind the Hand' lobby and the Corridor Politics' that hurt and cause so much hassle and undoing of any purposeful and worthwhile job / ruling. When I was president I hauled up some whom never lifted a finger to help, clotted up[ the bar or engage in 'things that should be'. Told them to pull their wieght and do their bit. Next week the same... so 15 minutes to to before transporter arrived I went in with the 'Workers' and told them 'If you want your birds to go, you had better start putting them through the ringer WATCHED by me and the Sec'. They did it under protest. A rota was soon set up and it worked well, even for 3 /4 to stay behind and load the wagon. they out voted me the next season and things went back to what they were. Fund - raiser, events and club shows are ignored ... till it's time to decide what to do with the money others have raised. 'I know, pay it out in prize money etc. I have a split problem now. I have offered to train the birds 60 miles to me, 48 - 50 to most of them. Some want to pay by birdage, some per member. I stated and proposed, that it will be by the 'Crate'. they have to buy one, and it will go twice a week regardless whether they send their birds or not! And they will be comitted to pay either £3 or £5 tops per toss. 2 tosses will be either £6 or £10 per week. No buying crates after the first week. Now I don't know about you on here, but for me to send my birds 50 miles twice a week, to be home to watch them return, or not have to rush home after work to drive there, or before work for £6 - most likely would be £8 a week is flipping good. But I have trouble getting it through because they are argueing aboiut who will be better off, and not as to how they benefit personally. I.e why should I be sending 10 birds pay the same as him that is sending 30 birds.

Having read the new evidence put forward by Amir Khan, rightly or wrongly, I believe he will get what has already been offered him, namely a return fight. Why the constant upset? I believe it is wounded pride, and a genuine feeling of being cheated. If, as the video may well do, shows that there is a unlawful person during the bout talking to Mr Walsh etc. and obviously does take his mind away from the fight during the rounds fought. Did sit in seats not allowed, and what not, then the mere fact that he was there, where he shouldn't be, and talking to, and during to people he shouldn't be, and they do obviously know better, then I believe the result will be recinded and classed as a 'No Bout' and as such a rematch being ordered with Khan the holder stil the holder of his titles. And quite rightly too. It will be interesting to see the outcome and the excuse - if any - why the rules were flouted and more so by whom and to what reason. Seems this appeal is on again and will do so till they are in the ring again. Where and when remains to be seen. But I don't believe it will be either Washington or Manchester.

Could order a rematch, but as Peterson is already agreeing to acommondate Khan that seems pointless. Think one has to get 'Yard Sticks' firmly into place.... and more intense as the better ones birds fare. Yep of course one has to start in the loft... then Club / Fed /Nationals etc. But again Loft location(s) and winds have also to be very relevant in all results.
