Your corn supplier should sell them
they can vary in price - at the NEHU show for instance they were from £6.50 to £12 (couldn't believe that price - it wasn't for two either)
mail order - will bump up the price because of postal charges
what area do you live newbold ?
I have looked at birds on the south road and birds on the north road at roughly the same time of day - and their combined velocities have been between 2900 and 3000 ypm
divide the two 1450 -1500 ypm or 49 - 51 mph
Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus
read the book George - you'll have a good nights sleep (sleeping)(sleeping)(sleeping)
I'm not hi-jacking the thread - I just seem to have differing views from the rest of you (like - all of you (evil) )
We had a yearling hen that held the last flight this year - which she dropped in June - she was stopped from racing for a month - but was sent to the last three old bird races - the last one was Lillers 317 miles -strong NW wind - and she was 3rd club (beaten by loft mates) and still 7 minutes ahead of the next loft in the club - this last flight was still not fully grown
If you just want comments on how your photos look - from an aesthetic point of view
the second photograph - you have a good side view of the head - the first photo - the bird has a better stance - combine the two - good side view and legs straighter
and there's too much reflection in the eyesign photos which need more clarity - whether that means a better camera or taking the shot from a different angle I don't know
but they're certainly better than I could take
It was only £4.50 at one of the stalls at the NEHU show (they only had one loft - which was taken from my hands and sold to someone else - as I was reading the label (shrug)(shrug)(shrug)
There were quite a few stalls - but the usual one I go to had sold out of most things that I wanted so that was disappointing
some of the stalls had pulled out and gone to Bridlington show
I'll not mention any company names - but one there I'm sure put all his prices up !!
nemicide contains levamisole - and is the active ingredient in the 'new' wormer from Harkers - Harka-verm

certainly looks cheap enough
We have a 1999 cock and hen - and the only way we have got youngsters from them is to let them lay (check eggs - if not full - float another set of fertile eggs under them)
let them bring up the youngsters - and the next lot of eggs have been fertile
That is still the ruling - but a brick garage also counts as part of a house - so if the garage is set back from the house and you can't get a further 5 metres from that - then you have to have planning permission - this happened to a friend of ours - who in the end was quite willing to knock the garage down ..!
