Didn't someone put on here that the NWHU rings were bigger ?
I had trouble this year getting rings on youngsters - I know the NEHU has gone to a different supplier this year though I don't know whether that will make a difference with the size
Mangosteen was in the news about two years ago
pomegranate juice as well
and noni juice
its expensive - about the same price as a decent bottle of malt whiskey
and won't give you as good a nights sleep
with not having any whites - I didn't realise they produced other colours (and I know beautyhomer will say white isn't a colour - but I know what I mean even if nobody else does (kewl))
I can recommend Osmonds 'Enviroboost' which I use on the other two days
thats very economical - 1ml to a litre water -
http://www.osmonds.co.uk/product.php?productid=188&cat=5&page=1
though its shot up in price - I paid £11 last year for a litre - ordering from their site - their prices have gone up by 30% and more on some things
inflation only 4.5% (rubbish !!)
I don't know about Louella Wildies - but one of ours did 545 miles this year - one of louella Jan Ardens didn't as it didn't home (we only sent 2)
Did I see on another thread that Dick Darky was 4th combine Bourges with a wildie?
I've been to Belgium two years running - so will be giving it a miss in 2009
brought birds back in 2007 - didn't bother in 2008 - although to be honest the birds looked better in 2008 - but I was on a warning (shrug)(shrug)(kewl)
I have used it for about 18 months - 3 bottles bought last November lasted almost a year - so I bought 4 bottles last weekend
I had previously used it for a few months - then not used it for 3 months - and I noticed they seemed in better condition when it was in use - so I started again, having used it for this full season - like pigeon pete57 we too had our best season ever
I use it 5 times a week - bought at the likes of Blackpool where they have 3 for 2 offers - its not that expensive - and I use it all year round
NEHU rules - you need vaccination certificate from country of origin as well as ring card or you can't race them - these have to be sent together to the NEHU office and stamped by them
No-body is perfect - not even me
but its getting off the subject of how long you give your pigeons
for me - I've always had enough room to keep them
I don't have loads of pigeons
Had I not had patience - and taken notice of the comments below
I wouldn't have had the birds in my loft would I?
And as Harry said
I have the patience of a saint (evil)
well - if I had taken notice of the comments on here
I wouldn't have had a 2 year old who was 3rd club - 9th Fed 1887 birds (55 miles) 192nd combine 24,000 birds (260 miles) and 13th combine 19000 birds Lillers (317 miles) in 2007
he hadn't scored until then
a 3 year old who was 18th Fed Bourges 544 miles (who also hadn't scored until then) 2008
another 3 year old 2nd club 197th combine 445 miles - who also was the first time scoring 2008
a 3 year old - injured as a yearling and never raced again until this year - was just outside the first 200 from 34,000 birds - she was 2nd club 8th fed 1872 birds (260 miles) it was also the first time she'd scored as well
another 2 year old hen first time scoring - 1st club 2nd fed 2107 birds (202 miles)
I could go on .......zzzzzzzzz (evil)
Half my loft are 3 - 5 years old
Hope these are close to you:
