One of our club members is an inspector at race marking in another fed - and he reckons ETS is so slow - having to print three copies of race sheet for each member takes an age and that rubbering the birds and writing down the numbers in the book is quicker - as you can have more than one table on the go for them

We're at Clermont - further to the East - just North of Paris weather looks sh*te Saturday and Sunday (shrug)(dizzy) I've got a webcam link for Paris - which loooks great at the moment - I will share with you in the morning

but you would have got 4.30 (and 10.30 pm) and 'gained' 12 minutes in effect - whereas the other guy didn't gain anything - swings and roundabouts yours had 16 hours 42 minutes on the wing - but 12 minutes was wiped out making it 16 hours 30 minutes - the other had 16 hours 45 minutes - all counting (evil)

Drizzle at Redcar - has been all day and North East wind (it 'says' around 10 mph - but doesn't seem that 'fast' here) but the birds won't be on the coast - you need to hear from someone inland

as with most weather forecasts - it has literally been changing by the hour - when we basketed birds on Thursday - it certainly looked like we'd get a race on Saturday according to xcweather on Thursday morning so I'd wait for Saturday its been drizzle and full cloud cover where I stay since first light this morning my widowhood cocks - who haven't gone to the race have been lazy s*ds all week - and I can't get them in today.............
