  1. If you get the ring numbers - I can tell you which clubs they're from in the meantime: GF - Gateshead BOR - Border fed NY - my fed (evil)
  2. NEHU09TEE ??? Steve ? God knows how they got there - we've only raced as far as Worksop
  3. That will have been a very tough race - well done to both of you (and to the birds of course)
  4. You can't just leave it like that Roland does your club mix the youngsters up - or were they all in one basket? What were the returns like in your club? I believe Peterborough Fed had a terrible race from Aycliffe on Saturday - most of the birds headed North instead of South - the strong South West winds here (Redcar) were well over 25mph on Saturday
  5. Not really, the only ones that are standing out at the moment are the ones who aren't going to make it to the yearling stage, and thats from someone who will normally walk to the ends of the earth for even the duffers to give them that chance to prove themselves

  7. Tynemouth North Fed I don't have a 2008 hand book - but its likely to be Dudley Homing Society (they're racing this morning) TN Fed secretary: G Grant: 0191 258 5915 Dudley HS Secretary G Purves : 01670 731876 mobile: 07946 176603
  8. Congratulations Andy (I've NEVER won a young bird race)
  9. Well done Andy - hope you're headache isn't too bad this morning (evil)
  10. Don't give any more antibiotics
  11. I would go back to the vet make sure he does a crop swab and a vent swab - and take a droppings sample with you, following extensive antibiotic treatment your bird(s) could have a yeast infection - which also causes watery droppings, as does cocci (and a million and one other things)

  20. you need to get a life
  21. well done Leroy, 67ghirl has done such a lot for other fanciers strays
  22. you quoted this in red: it is not about gladdo
  23. what you have quoted in red has nothing to do with gladdo - the poster was telling a story about someone else I notice you have taken a few things on this thread out of context
  24. the green ring with orange panel is an ETS ring - the other leg (red ring ) has the birds life ring number - this is more imprtant - however - the stamp on its wing is likely to be the owners telephone number - if you were able to pick the bird up - and look at the wing feathers - you will probably find the STD CODE
  25. Personally - I wouldn't race it again this season I have old birds that hit the wires (3 of them) on the last race of the old bird season - July 18th - none required stitching - and they would not be ready to race again yet
