  11. This is the breeders phone number (I think it is a mobile you'll probably need an international code in front as well) 06-17814969 check it out http://www.npo.nl/duif-gevonden
  12. I disagree with them all as well
  13. It was 78's - my mum told me (evil) LPS's were 33 and 1/3rd(evil)
  14. we were 1st & 2nd club 2nd & 3rd fed with a wildie and a Renee van de Weyer (hens) from Clermont this year - 392 miles (51st & 63rd UNC in NE Wind) the wildie didn't go to Andrezel but the Van de Weyer did - I wouldn't send her again though - it was too far (448 miles)
  15. Despite the stock birds still being paired they are moulting well - and some are on the end flights - having an unremarkable moult. The old racers - its a different matter - nearly all dropping 2 at a time - and one even dropping 4 altogether I've never noticed so many flights moulting all at once - is this normal? Would you add anything extra to the feed to help with the feather growth to ensure the new growth is of good quality
  16. Teesside Bridge HS Trevor Young 01642 760308 Say hi from Susan (evil)(evil) tell him to bring extra pies for the next NEHU AGM (evil)(evil)
  17. You've already made your mind up Andy - but I wouldn't send her we left 2 young hens out of Saturdays race as they were eggy - having split the youngsters mid week - hoping the rest of the season the hens would then be OK - now the hens are all pairing up to each other - so still not 'safe' for future races
  18. This is what she survived as a youngster the last race from Lillers - was 30+ mph West winds across the channel - and I had 4 come back injured and one missing
  19. Thank you for your input This hen hit wires as a young bird - and almost decapitated herself so I don't think we'll risk her again
  20. We have a hen that returned from the last old bird race with a broken keel - it is broken across the keel - and quite high up - about an inch from the top - and the lower part - under the break is displaced What are the members thoughts about this hen racing again (it has taken 2 months for the swelling to go down - but the skin is still yellow - recovering from the bruising (our thoughts are that she will not race again) she flew all the channel races except Bourges (so up to 450 miles - 4 channel races) and was our first bird back from Andrezel, she is 2 years old - and we were hoping for Bourges next year until this happened she flies around the loft fine
