we fly in section E and sit the furthest north west in the section bar none!!!!(30 miles)and i can assure you we will fly against anyone!!we have also been lucky enough to have won the section. ;)think you might be at the wind up though!

dont disagree with your principles Jock,but all other uk classic and national clubs are a lot less even than our 1/10 so i think we have the ratio correct. Davie Angus what a fancier and performances to dream about timing birds at 8 years old and even 9 and 10 to win sections!!! but these doos and fanciers are not here anymore and times change,look at the last 3 600mile races into the west section bourges,tours and niort approx 240 birds sent only 10 birds winning a prize,not sure what the answer is although a bird flying between 600-750 miles maybe entitled to a wee bit more chance of that prized national ticket. :)

i am not so sure Jock 1/10 at the rest of the channel races is harder than all of most other uk national organisations,but yes 1/5 over 600miles undecided we will have to wait and see. :)

lets hope we can all be at it john,Gareth and family have put up a lovely trophy in Georges memory for 1st west section with the first name on it being top distance fancier Jock Alston. :)

met the lad Edu last year Alan and he can be a bit excitable to say the least!! he does have a great record in the race and lets hope the scottish team will be to the fore. :) defo looking forward to a few beers with the team Alan. :)
