was a good year weather wise Lewis lofty grant won a hard rennes,jock ellis wellbank had a great rennes and sartilly 2,on a personal level we had a very good few weeks timing 3 good combine birds with the first bird 3rd open,scored rennes with an injured pied cock and the topper was nantes 614 mls clocking 3 birds on the shift in 90 mins,our 4th and final doo was a 9 yr old hen and she was clocked at 5.50am!!!!!! race won by donaldson and downie second was again lofty grant, was a good and enjoyable year for me who had just turned 21 !!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: ps still 6 races on that programme over 350 miles!!!

i think you know Stuart i dont have a short memory!! :lol:the best 2 races recently from the longest race points we have had with the SNFC have been from Andrezel and Tours both convoyed by big organisations with large birdages,maybe coincidence but i think not.!!!! ;)birds flying into Scotland over 600 mls need all the help they can get imo!! we can all stick our chests out for glory and play the pioneer card but we must give the birds the best chance of getting home!!! as stated the Midland nationals radius falls not far short of the SNFC south section so imo this is the best option!!
