Geo plenty of birds that win from 400 - 500 miles don't go on too win at the gold cup!!! the national Feds and combines has had plenty of top Eastbourne,Lille Ypres and even sartilly/falaise birds over the years which don't make the step up to the gold cup or the long yin.just a wee observation over 40 years of trying!!!
