Great news,it was discussed at our club AGM yesterday.

Spot on m8 and you can still tell them in the pub that such and such won the gold cup Reims race 2016 into the solway!! ps if you say it quick they sound the same! Lol

No doubt in the scottish pigeon year the Gold cup is the premier race,the local Rennes ace at the time was wattie robertson of lennoxtown who on a visit to macmerry told Eddie that he only wanted a youngster from the very best and none of his rubbish!!!! Eddie liked watties cheek and came away with a daughter of live circuit which was a cracker,after watties unfortunate death the hen ended up with ourselves in milton of campsie and a grandson scored 5 times in the west coast combine. 2nd open Tracy b as stated would go on to win a gold award along with famous strathclyde lass,next up one of the top lofts at the time johnston of pencaitland with two of his famous deanview birds in 4th and 5th,the midland fed next with wee bobby Andrews from the plains near Airdrie, michael currie with two stunners and the stuff of dreams ( great stuff yeboah) his uncle 5 times gold award winner mr and mrs ben scott brydkirk in there as usual, previous and soon to be gold cup winners jock Poole,Derek Norden,barney dalgliesh.
