Not me del missed the last two nationals and will miss this one also,buried my best pal this week aged 48 and a more big clean living gentleman you would never have met!! This has hit me hard and the other boys and wife's as we have all been together since kids,also ma wee lassie is home from kuwait and we all have a big wedding at brigadoon in ayrshire next weekend,The birds have taken a back seat this last two weeks.will push on with the youngsters and the very best of luck to all competing in the top club in the country the SNFC.

Well race finished into central Scotland and it's a blank for me,I sent the best two birds in the loft and like many others it's been a long weekend with nothing to show for it. After flying the gold cup now for 40 years they do not get any easier and as always every 4 or 5 years we get a howler and unfortunately this is it!!!! Not sure about the coming weeks and any plans for racing will be put on hold for a day or two to take stock,so chin up lads have a wee rest and get going again.
