hotrod you reckoned with the smaller convoys this might have given the west lads a wee chance recently,(i did agree)competing with the unc with vast amounts of birds heading east do you honestly feel the same.?

i think you guys in the west are going to have a harder shift getting birds across into the west section convoying with the up north combine.

will the reims convoy be only snrpc birds?

watched my first old firm game for a few years and to say i was disappointed would be a massive understatement,overpayed and overhyped mediocre footballers,watched a much better game yesterday,blood guts and snotters and some skill, dunfermline beating partick thistle 3-2 the jags losing to a late penalty ,these guys are on a fraction of the money earned by their old firm counterparts,i know who i would rather watch. :(

remember winning a federation open race at the start of the old bird season(second week in april) a white griz cock homing into a blizzard same cock 2nd fed cheltenham 290mls,next week 5th west coast combine dorchester 370mls this 2nd & 3rd week in june,the cock scored sartilly 511mls the following year,1983 or1984 the year. :) :)great memories.

the late great jock allan of symington trained some birds all through the year,hail rain or shine,snfc gold award winner "irish mick" was trained most days through the winter wherever jock was working,myself i have a team of 16 latebreds who are trained(short distances) right through the winter months on reasonabilly good days,historically previous teams of these latebreds have gone on in later years to score at national,combine & federation open racing. :) ;)

wee joe is the only scottish scribe who can get the winners of the snfc races on the front page of the weekly journals,i just hope recent problems can be rectified, it would be a shame for the snfc members to miss out on the top scribe,wee joe for pro!!!! :)
