  10. we are all human alf,had a lovely wee latebred griz cock, scored bovingdon snfc, clocked just off eastbourne result snfc ma old da said a good yin to put by for gold cup 2011, i sent him to ypres, never seen the wee doo,we live and learn.
  11. great point alf,the legend jock allan asked me years ago if i thought my birds required the training for the last national that i was giving them??? i then asked him the question and was told after a long season most of the birds going to the last race had done enough roadwork,i took his advice and have a good batting average at the last water race. ;) ;)
  12. maybe so budgie but the lanarkshire fed does not compare to timing a cracker at the no1 race of the year the snfc gold cup reims.
  13. what mistakes did you make in 2010 budgie????. :)looking at your results you had a very good season.
  14. well done wee mick and the uddingston boys, followed mick in the car up the 74 motorway earlier this week but he lost me there aswell. :D :D
  15. cheers jas and delboy for the safe return of the wee doo. :) :)
  16. usually after the ybn,but a few older stock birds have already been earmarked as well as 1 or 2 that never lived up to their billing.
  17. thats fine davy good luck for the rest of the youngbirds, will maybe catch a few races with you guys, hard down here at the tail of the bank. :D
  18. i take your point davy but short racing especially youngbirds(40-70 miles)and when in a favoriable geographical position in club,i can see no good in this multiple clocking, only causes unrest in clubs imo,if still using a clock would you time 10-20 birds at short distance ???? i think not,i have always been for ets,but used properly and sportingly.imo.
  19. needing a wee rule there davie first three and your pooler, short youngbird racing <_< see another club where a chap had the first 36 birds in the club at 40 miles,no good for the pigeon sport imo.
