Does the Lanarkshire Members of PB think there would be an interest in a ONE OFF winter Open Race organised by Uddingston & District Homing Club. Its been very succssesful in the East of Scotland.

I separate the sexes as soon a possible every year.

Interesting but i widnae keep pigeons just for to fly them a mile.Each to there own i suppose.

Kelso and Otterburn have been excellent race points for Lanarkshire Fed.

Its the same in my club only a few go to it, pity as there are some real good fanciers among them but seem to be happy with fed racing.

For me that just about says it all Too many races with not enough pigeons.

Was it the fed programme that Decimated your team or the National races?

Agree 100% with the spreading out of the races theres to many races running into each other which is crippling most fanciers financially.

Do you think its true that the falcon will take the lighter coloured ones first?? I never thought there was any truth in it.

Gareth theres still plenty doos left in uddingston make no mistake about that,i think theres a few different reasons for the poor turnout at the last two races and heavy losses isnae one of them.The yb programme this year was fair for returns and dont forget it isnae everybody that wants to race there ybs to the bitter end.

White doo your in for a good season next year as you have lost all yur crap.I think you should get a new tube of silvo in the hoose.

I think most fanciers took it for granted that it would be east again as the racing we have had from the east have been good ,especially the old birds i dont remember EVER having a bad race with the old birds from the East ROUTE. Theres been losses but thats normal for any route.

Going with what was said at the club meeting fanciers are keeping there options open,could be a costly year for the fed and its members.
