it was the same in our fed last year i won the fed averages again but the bird that did best for me won the fed tropthy for the 3 longest old bird average herself but did,nt win bird of the year and the surprising thing is she was only a yearling .

its good to youth coming through gary well done .next season set yourself a target of trying to do better and you will there is some cracking trophies in the club worth chasing .we have our presentation night tonight and i cant wait as like you i fly the doos to win the trophies .well done to you and your dad .

thanks johnny i dont know about other feds but our fed is realy competive and i know of a good few fanceirs in it who set there stall out at the start of the season to try and win them

i think averges are there for all to win everyone sends there doos everyweek hoping to win the race so over the course of the season the most consistent flyer wins the the averages whether it be club or fed .

i have used mark a few times and found him to be a proper gentleman and a first class courier .with the price of fuel nowadays £35 is not a bad price as has to make a living out of it aswell so all in i think he is very reasonable in todays climate .

mine is not in yet either i cant remember the last time i got in on a friday last week i never got it till wedensday nearly a week late .

tam i have 2 roland jansenns a hen and a cock the hen was my 2nd doo from hastings 483 mile last year as a yearling .the young i bred from them this year i gave to my mate .yes i got on the result with the hen this year i sent them both to eastbourne 489 mile half expecting not to see them again as it is i got them both within 2 hours of each other the hen was 4th section 90th open if you want the young off them next year pal your more than welcome free of charge . the thing that annoys me is you boys keep going on about how hard it is west tam at the distance it is not easy no matter where you live a good doo man with good doos will time in regardless. i also think the guys up west from me in elgin /keith/forres and elgin have got it realy hard as shown on our fed result everyweek but these guys never moan and these have got it a lot harder than you boys jmo.sorry for hijacking budgie and good luck with the sale of doos

there must be something in the air in this area our fed (north of scotland) has had dodgy racing and returns from this area for years no matter where we go whether it be consett,ridsale,hexham its so unpreditical and as a rule our worst area to race from
