same here stuart we are 6pm every race but if we think the doos are going to be late home from the race we make it 6pm the following day leaving the fancy to enjoy watching their doos come home and getting all the news at the club

i would think taylors choice would be your best bet for the bowls

it would depend where you lived but its not for me i would,nt send any i think the coast hastings is far enough for them

its good to see the m d evans doos doing the biz in the WILD WEST and here was me thinking you needed a different kind of doo way over there

so the national has been won quite a few times in the west section from france and they still want to go east for a couple o mile of overfly sad realy why not keep the tradition of french channel racing and make the race points dead south of the central belt of scotland .guys we will send our doos regardless of where the race is from but why change every year and have to pay for new measurements again when the sport is getting expensive enough .i think instead of overfly common sense is needed to keep the tradition of this great club intact JMO

john the national has only ever been won 4 times in the history of the snfc in the north so please dont think you boys are the only ones that have got it hard we all have thats my point .sorry for going of topic about proposed race points but think about when you cross the channel there is no easy racing pal

well said a good honest post we just have to prepare our birds to the best of our ability regardless of racepoint and cross the fingers

rab i do know where you are coming from pal but how come they used to do it but dont now .

rab at the distance events no one has it easy pal you need the right man with the right doos there is to much fanceirs on about loft location i agree it pays a massive part in the short races its there for all to be seen in the fed results but surely the race programe should be set out for which is best for the birds not best for the fanceir . can you tell me how much times the national has been won in the west as i have asked this question alot of times and no one seems to know .

its good to see someone mention the north as you wont here us moan about race points or overfly . some fanceirs in the SOUTH WEST think the world is against them i wander how they would feel if they lived if FORRES - ELGIN OR INVERNESS and you never hear these guys moan and groan and it truth be told they have proberly got the worst loft locations in scotland FACT imo
