  1. Club rings just arrived, they get earlier each year.
  2. Never heard of it before.
  3. I think its all down to what clocking method you use, with manual clocking the quicker the bird can get into the loft the better so personally I would always use open doors, but with ETS you need something that the pads are under for the bird to walk across so a trap with bobs at either end seems the norm.
  4. Thanks very much Stuart catalogue arrived today, your wife made a super job of it thanks again.
  5. Noticed in this weeks BHW that Haswell Pigeon Auctions have moved to the Spanish hall for their auctions will this mean the fancy birds will be somewhere else.
  6. No mention of Schools on the website or being any cheaper to enter for the Join our sport campain which as a separate lot of prize money.

  9. Hope youve got them tuned up Andy.
  10. Looking at the RPRA liberation sites map I would say Peterborough would be the closest alternative approx 15 miles shorter, perhaps someone knows the site and can say if there is better facilities there.
  11. Perhaps you could say why you were going to pair up on the 1st Dec,IMO far to early but each to his own.
  12. I believe that Eddie Wright of Fountainhead Lofts had a pigeon called ^THE HELD^ If I remember correctly it was a Kellens x Wildimercsh.
  13. Sounds a good idea would all insurance companies do that sought of cover.
  14. Does anyone know if its possible to take out a 6 monthly policy for a pigeon transporter.
  15. Funny but when people were saying they had problems in some parts of the country getting Colombovac we didnt seem to have problems in this area, surely if it was licensed then it would still be now.
  16. Just been reading a few notes from the RPRA manager in the BHW where he states that only COLOMBOVAC and NOBIVAC are licenced to use in the UK. I must admit I thought that the new BELGVAC was licensed as well but obviously not.
  17. I have read this with interest being a club secretary and understand your above posting but are Benzine still saying you need to have 5 members that have their systems before they will loan you the club stuff.
  18. Glad you liked him,I hadnt really picked him up until the other day but I must admit I was sorry to let him go,so I hope he breeds you something good.
  19. Stick um on 100% Barley for a few weeks, bird is on the way picked up about 10.30.
  20. We have given you the club mate it is THE NATIONAL FLYING CLUB but they dont keep records anyway you have to report the ring to the RPRA like it says in the ring list, then as we also told you the RPRA doesnt keep records after 10 years.
  21. According to the 1980 ring list this ring was issued direct from the RPRA, as they only keep records for 10 years (I think it is) you will have trouble finding out who it was issued to,unless your lucky and someone on here recognises it.
  22. As I said mate this is a late bred but he,s nearly moulted out,I,ll see if I can get a picture, you can have him FOC if you like him as long as you pay the carriage.
  23. No probs on the book mate, you never know Christmas might come twice for ya, I,ve got a latebred out there which I cant remember know if its even rung or not but its never been out,I,ll check it tomorrow and get back to you but no promises at the moment.
