Anyone remember the date the show was first held at Blackpool,I believe it was also the show where the Pigeon Sport newspaper was first published, was given a free copy as we queued to get in.

Not sure if you have visited it in the last couple of years but they have spent millions on it,to me it as vastly improved to what it was.

I must admit I give my birds various things out of a bottle but I dont consider that I am being fooled into buying them,I just feel that by giving the birds the best I can afford I am looking after them the best I can. Weather or not they would perform the same if I stopped giving them these things I dont know but I am quite happy looking after them the way I do.Here is a list of what I use, Strike 2 from Gem. Garlic plus from Gem. Adherb from Carrs. Organic Cyder Vinegar. Gemthepax from Gem. Glucose and Vitamins from Versele LAga. I also use Versele Laga corn.

Dont want to take anything away from him as a racer but you put him up as a top stock cock so at 10 years old I would think he must have bred a host of winners to earn that heading.

Have been using the Versele Laga Energy Plus corn for the last couple of years,certainly had my best young bird season for many years this year,is it because I,m using Versele Laga corn I dont know but I wont be changing next year.

I can asure you that if the judge was a proper eye sign guy and not someone who just because he as won a few races thinks he is a expert on the subject,he would pick out your birds no problem,I have been interested in eyesign for almost 50 years and shown birds all over the country but would not call myself an expert in any way or even try to explain it to others,but I have selected many birds on eyesign alone which have bred me winners,was I lucky I dont know but I have said before IT WORKS FOR ME and thats all I,m worried about.

He may have said this Wiley but he judged a show in Nailsworth which attracted 95 birds,I entered a bird that as won at shows all over the country even Blackpool he took a card and yes youve guessed it Geoff picked this bird out infact I was 2nd as well,it works for me when pairing the birds and thats all I care about rubbish or not.
