  1. YOu would see any variance on the members sheet that you print off after the race as it shows the setting and checking times,I havnt had any dealings with the Taurus or Types only Bricon or Unikon but I would imagine that they could still show a variance on a race.
  2. As anyone loaded the updates on their system yet, having a problem with ours only done the Champ at the moment.
  3. ETS can still vary over a 24 hour run just the same as any quartz clock can T3s etc,I have had most of the ets clocks in our clubs vary by the odd second when we strike off after a race.

    bricon pad

I know the price of a new one mate £194.
  5. Think you will find it will work well until the hawk gets used to them, its like a lot of the deterrants they seem to work well for a while, know someone who bought one of those big plastic eagle owls, perfect for a while hawk now roosts on top of it.
  6. Hope you dont mind me asking Jason but didnt you have trouble with your darkness youngones last year throwing flights early was that doing it the same way.
  7. Surely if you leave young birds a few weeks after they have been weaned they are going to start moulting their flights before you get them onto the dark system,I have allways put mine straight on the system the day they are weaned with no problems, infact i,m sometimes struggling at the end to get them through the moult, perhaps thats where I,m going wrong.
  8. They have what is called A Code of Practice which sets out a list of do,s and dont,s regarding vaccination,it does say that they must be vaccinated annually with a defra approved vaccine.
  9. Thought I would put this up again for anyone that missed it.
  10. For anyone who is responsible for their clubs system there are some new software updates which will automatically download onto your computer if you have the right boxes ticked on the options page, you then connect up your club master and then update each clock in turn. Not sure what the actual updates are perhaps someone can tell me that bit.
  11. RPRA RULE 234,Prior to racing all ETS clocks must be brought to the club and set with the ETS radio clock and struck off after 24 hours. In the case of members wishing to use their ETS elsewhere a certificate of worthiness will be issued by the officials of the testing organisation.
  12. Any idea why such a rule would be in force, seems strange to me.
  13. I THINK you use these click and clock boxes or have the flap conversion you cannot use the clock as it is with just the rubber, this was bought in to please people with t3s as it suppose to save time clocking.
  14. Inserts may be used from the 2009 season was on the RPRA site 2 DAYS AGO.
  15. Probably be strugling to sell at £80 for the two.
  16. Cant remember weather you said or not jason but are you using ETS for the challenge races.
  17. Perhaps if people read the rules and regulations about posting before there wrote something they would know why a particular thread was removed without asking for a explanation.
  18. Rule 160 may help, doesn,t actually say life members but some things that cover non flying members might apply.
  19. I dont think I have said that any ones better than the other there is good and bad points with both systems that I have set.The only reason I might have changed at the time was because I was the only one in the club with Bricon and it would of made things easier all having the same, but now there are 3 of us i,m sattisfied to stay with what one i,ve got.
  20. People are just going to vote for the system they have or in a lot of cases what the club have purchased, why not ask the secretaries or whoever does all the computer work which they think is best thats if they have more than one system, they are the ones you should ask advice from when thinking about what to buy as it is they who have to set everthing up so that you can use it.
  21. Looks as if you might have to sort it out between yourselfs then, would get together with the others who are interested and decide what you all want, find out if the sec.is prepared to do all the computer side of it,Ithink you will find that a lot of others will become interested once they see how much easier it makes things.
  22. First thing I would do is check with your club to see what others are getting as it makes the job a lot easier for the sec.or whoever will be doing all the club side of things if everybody as the same systems,we have Bricon and Unikon in our club and personally would not say that either one was better than the other.
  23. Sorry Gail realise thats where your coming from LOL.
  24. Must be WHU rule that one I was quoting RPRA rule.
  25. I know what you mean here Len but infact it is a rule that a bird must be transferred, the rule says the transfer form must be sent to the General Manager for registration within 14 days after the change of ownership, how many actually know that,I personally didnt but i knew there was something in the rules so I checked,Rule 102.
