Well done for getting them tested mate. I guess you have to decide what next. Moxidectin would seem to be a problem with feeding parents. Ivermectin is similar product but as you use one drop on the back of the neck it won't have any effect on the young in the nest I believe. Best O' luck
Tiz a shame not to go with the orignal challenge. I have nearly all yearlings having moved house, and all must go 515 mile. The first time I've sent yearlings this far but. ;)
Still haven't seen why you can't race a young bird as an old bird, have not seen any rule against it. I've done it, and have not seen any changes to the rules to make it illegal.
As for the NFC being the only true national in england....... I race with BBC and BICC cos these are the biggest toughest races I can enter. When it comes to birdage I think the mighty UNC wins hands down. ( I'm a little out of the radius though )
May be an ideal start but she wants to start now.
Pair of young 'uns here in Rugby if you want 'em. They will be ready in a couple o' weeks they wont leave here unless they are good.
Young birds must carry a ring of there birth. Old birds however must carry a registerd ring. Don't matter that it carry's a young bird ring. Pointless putting two rings on, as it only needs one and it can be a young bird ring. In the 70's I raced my young 'uns as old birds. now I just rear a few late breds train the hens with the young birds and send in the old hens National. Works well for me.
Nothing is kept pure here Chichi, but I think you are entirly wrong about the whites I have a white grizzle that flew Palamos last year and Perth as a two year old. White Buscheaart's and I bought in the Aardens too.
Brian Denny, Geoff Cooper, Mark Gilbert, Mevr Deweerdt. In reality I couldn't afford the best, at first hit, so I would probably go to Massarella's and buy 10/12 for racing. As for strains, I wouldn't even think about it.
