  14. We will win it Derek Not going to cut all ties with pigeons so i will still be on basics now and again and visiting lofts on a Saturday Lewis my golf handicap was 18 before i started pigeons now it's 28 buy i will get that down.
  15. Thank's for the nice comment's murder giving them away today take me a few weeks to get over the change in my routine. Derek hopefully we win the big money in the one loft race fingers crossed.
  16. Well That's it last race entered tonight I would like to say. Thank's to all the friends I have met on pigeonbasics. Good luck to you all in the future hopefully the sport will recover from the terrible racing we have had over the last few years. To the friends who gifted me birds over the years Jock Alston, Davie Hannah two gentlemen of the sport Thank you. My mentors and drinking buddies Gareth Rankin Billy Gordon Gerry Mcfall and Davie Allison. Mind non fanciers can still go to Blackpool !! Thanks for helping me get some decent results over the last few years. Special mention to Davie Allison who's knowledge of pigeons and his methods he has gladly shared with me. Billy Reid and Davie Stirling who helped me after my operation earlier this year. To all my clubmates in Burnbank I loved beating you all (not often) but I never forgot to shake the winners hand. Thank you. Frank Welsh

  18. once in a lifetime bird. Well done to Mr Nicol's wonder who bred it or has it left any good offspring????
  19. Well done to the Lawrie's on winning the race
  20. Vincent my birds were bombed outside my loft two or three year ago the pigeons dived into tree's at tremendous speed. Someone told me of a game keeper walking through the woods he heard an almighty crash and popping noises after having a look there were pigeons lying on the ground some with wings taken clean off other's were speared onto branches. Total carnage. Until fanciers see it for themselves then they will blame clashing and all the other rubbish. Next year I will try to get it on video camera and show you what damage they can do. Hopefully I will be back in the sport in the future but will there be a future? As novice has said big big change's need to take place in the sport.
  21. Vincent can you tell me have you seen a peregrine strike a batch of pigeon's ?
