could be right about distances i checked my club sheet and the distance on that is same as on fed result 169 m 1452y .i looked at an other fed result for selby my distance on that is 168m 0328y. the only other member on both is s .gilcrist and both distances are the same on his.i think it might be a mistake by my club with my distances

our last yb race of the season midlothian fed yb open newark 210 to 225 mile aprox for members.very much looking forward to it my club is inveresk with all other members stopped racing yb,s through lots of birds lost in my club. i am thankful the fanciers of easthouses club are letting me put my birds through with theirs .so this week will be racing as an easthouses SUB and thankful for it

i got 26 out of 29 so not as bad as i 1st thought.

it has to do something to feather quality of birds.it tastes crap so if birds preen themselves and no drinker.if it stops birds preening in the basket like a lot of them do .to relax and get their feathers in top condition for the race. keep birds in through winter like bobby has suggested NO CHANCE. sorry not for me.i have seen birds with half the brain power of most bops get food that tastes crap with sand ect in it.so they git o wash it then eat it.other than their being a legal kull on bops our birds will constantly be under attack from them.also birds going to a national 5 or 6 days without cleaning their feathers http://www.ukgunroom.com/

got to agree with cris for me it was a good race getting 10 drop together and good returns. yes birds did not rattle in like last week .as their was gaps between them .i had a few last week that looked a bit tired .thats down to it being the 1st race the birds had to work a bit to get home. well done jimmy on the win

bops have hunted and killed pigeons from the time thay took to the skys.bops also have a very good brain in their heads and would find a way to overcome this. as the meat on the birds would taste just the same.it would not take them long to find another way of killing and ripping our birds to bits i am sorry to say.

1st of all well done all that made result in a very fast race ally the prydes have not said anything on hear so why involve them?? you can,t compare velocity,s as both feds are at diffrent race points and go up a diffrent times.with diffrent amounts of birds.if it is a true reading each week that pentland fed birds are 100 to 150 ypm faster than midlothian birds.where does the 100 to 150 ypm go when birds from both feds are at the same race point ??.ie a national
