their was a gold ring race some years ago in midlothian fed. if it came about to have the same again next year would midlothian members on hear be intrested. would be run the same way

i am happy to say a yb that i sent to newark open 216 miles.that i thought lost returned today.i thought before i sent her to hold her back as she is a good bit younger than the rest.silly mistake but she is home now

inbreeding or winner to winner or sometimes a pair that have not won anything can breed winners. if it was as easy as champion x champion = champion yb,s.the fanciers like myself and most on hear would not have a winner.it would be the fanciers that spend £1000,s buying the best that would do all the winning. lucky for us that is not the case .yes most of us try to improve with our birds and buy the best we can afford .so with winners coming from just about any type ie champion or club winner or bird with no wins. it is hard to narrow down whats best.any bird of mine that produces a bird to win for me will be kept for breeding as i think it is harder to get good breeders than it is to get a winner.

it was a good day started of at sale we got 4 j hannah,s grand daughter of japie and passion r combe 2013 yb .yb from grant and french frank tasker x haelterman. j smith grizzel jancenx van dyke also comes with a free yb next year to pair to it thanks john.finnised the day with a few pints a good meal also half bought a pony .

44 birds in race team start of training 23 left after race program 60 miles out to 216 10 of which went to yb national 243 miles all home. 3 i know of injured by hawk 18 lost or killed only 1 reported flying in and out of non fanciers garden

it is the danderhall club that run the 3 extra any age open races.danderhall club is the most professional club i have seen.this club is 2nd to non in getting birds put through clocks set and a result out with in hours of clocks getting read.the guys that run this are a credit to racing.
