it is a tough race andy. to be fair on birds you need to make sure their fit.can be as slow as 550ypm thats a long time on the wing

with only 2 weeks to go all the fanciers going to this race are up and down road like yoyo,s myself included. i see andy is sending 4 best of luck with them.myself i have 8 going to race with a few of them bred with this race in mind. the word is this could be the biggest entry for a xmus race.like any other year it could be anyone's race .without any doubt the winner will be the toughest most determined birds on the day.as it takes a gutsy pigeon to win it. THE RACE IS ON THE 15TH DEC MORPETH

on the come back and why not get in and make a few more quid. a few comments to above in 47 fight knocked out twice so not long on his back. in 47 fights 45 wins 32 won by ko(not bad even miss piggy,s not that good) 12 by decision 1 by disqualification lost 2 by ko. he has probably put more guys down with a body shot than than his critics on hear in their fast experience of fighting .that's his professional career put in years as an armature taking on fighters in his younger years week in week out .to do that as a young kid and keep going as an adult provisional takes a lot of hard work guts and determination .so a Muppet he definitely is not.

how do you get them look good

last year our club prize money was only £3 £2 and a £1 as it was reduced because lack of clubs funds. it will be going up this year also club members will be able to send i think 10 free birds.to be decided at club agm.our club runs a tote cost £3 per week you can win £40 per week in tote think off hand i have won £110 so far this year which is about normal. club pays all fed fees shu fees and any other fees we need to pay also pays for engraving of trophy,s ect.the only thing we need to pay outside tote is for our rings.also 35 p per bird and 50p at opens.we get out club more than we pay in tote each year

if you are going to be a good pigeon fancier don,t be shy to ask anything young man. i will bred you 4 yb,s next year all 4 bred of winning pigeons.2 will be bred from a bird that won from consett

it won,t be you or your classes stevie. thats what i think as you have a good eye for a good bird.thats not because you gave my 2 a 1st and a 2nd.in classes at rosewell .i have been to yours and your birds are always in good order.

it might put some fanciers off sending to yb national.if it gets a big entry and not to hard a yb season their could be well over 300 sent to final.if weather anything like last yb national it would be spot on for the olr .also taking a good part of the drag with maybe 300 plus all heading to same loft.then their might be a yearling race the following year from a national race point.as the lofts would be in a good locasion for yb,s from nat also for yearlings.

as i had a sale on hear a while back when i had my mind set on packing in racing (never said packing in keeping birds) members on hear bought the birds i had in sale. if any member bought a bird in sale only because they thought i was packing in or if any member has bought a bird at the sale that their not happy with .just send me a pm i will buy it back and give back cost of transport.all birds in sale have done or bred exactly what was said on sales list.this offer is only being made as i will be racing next year as a few things have changed and i don,t want any one that bought birds at sale thinking i was only getting rid of birds not good enough to keep and breed of. i have sent pm to some buyer to let them know and been told very happy with birds. thanks gary
