dont take this the wrong way vanreet .the symptoms you have mentioned can not be good for the rest of your birds.the diseases bob mentioned plus some others can sometimes lay dormant in birds .till you start training or racing putting your birds under strain and stress it shows it self. by then it is to late wise up it is a strag no one wants it is now giving you problems costing you money time ect. if it has passed any disease on to your other birds be prepared to start killing them.as i have found to my cost some years ago birds that have to be treated For some diseases NEVER MAKE GOOD RACE BIRDS. also if it turns out it has got any serous diseases let any local fanciers to you know. i am going to try see one of the mates today he has a book on all pigeon diseases will let you know if i can get the book .it might shine a bit light on the problem ( will have book by 12.30 )

entered 2 in r.p.r.a one loft race this year. was a bit miffed that the final race was a BLOW HOME.it wont stop me sending one or two next year. i would have preferred the birds to race with the wind on their nose . not so many birds would have made it home on the day . we send some of the best birds we can breed . so i think a bit harder race in the final would have been better . all said and done well done the winner.

i am taking 8 feet from one end off and putting a 8x6 12 box on extending yb sec from 8 x6 to a 10 by 6 . also putting chimney,s on all sections for better ventilation.

i have my birds out most day,s in winter. i believe in letting them exercise right through the winter .i also train some birds for a short race in December the xmus race .the way i look at it is racing pigeons or dogs or horses still need exercise even when their race season is at an end. i also think that it is needed more by the long distance fancier. hear is my view on say a human IE Paula radcliffe if you keept her in a living room all winter then told her she had a short time to prepare for a marathon she would tell you she could run it but that she would not win it.this is just my view on it .

the last presentation my club had was in 2005. as half the people their where my friends .i then left the sport so the club did not have enough to have a dinner dance.so when i joined this year i asked .i was told they needed about 60 bodies to make it worth while . so i said i would take 30 tickets that went up to 40 . then i was told it was to late to get it sorted. so hear is hoping that we have one next year if push comes to shove i will organize it myself . nothing worse than winning a bit the getting your trophies and tickets handed to you in a box. hope it comes of as i remember back to 2005 and poppin bottles of champagne at 2 o'clock in the morning .the good old days.

you are right i have not got a clue about this family.if you dont ask you will never know.
