Have Benzing not got a website or booklet that would have a step by step guide on setting up the system to get you going. I was able to download a user manual for the Tipes system and it was very easy to understand

Its dull, overcast and windy here in Derry this morning

I don't need too much planning Walter as I'm only interested in 3 races just hope when it comes to June I still have a few hopefuls in the race team

I'm in the same boat as you Walter have tried a few times to put photos up but gave up in the end. I just enjoy looking at other members photos of their birds and set-ups now. Thats a nice batch of Ybs Lewis hopefully you'll have a few winners amongst them

Like you say Gazza its trial and error at the beginning mate, the eggs are being incubated now more than 24 days so I would chuck them in the bin now and let the birds go down again on their 2nd nest which will only take around 10 days and with the birds more settled now you should have a good hatch next time around and have a nice team of Ybs all around the same age that you can wean together

Its a dull and damp start to the day here in Derry

I have an old red hen down from the late Kenny Hogg barkers and she breeds the odd white no matter what colour of the cock she is paired to.

Looks like the work of the local ferals, at least no-one was harmed apart from the bird that lost its nest :emoticon-0136-giggle:

When they changed the local hospital porter services I managed to get a few coats for myself and being blue was a bonus, so I have a supply of replacements for another few years to keep me going
