We don't do anything different to be honest. I think if the birds are in good nick & in good health then they won;t catch anything. Last season we had a few holdovers & the birds weren't treated & went on to top different Fed';s etc.. so it suits us just fine

Best treatment is not to get it in first place Don't overcrowd, never underfeed, never abuse antibiotics & only breed from pigeons that are proven. Too much crap is bred from & put in the baskets. Sometimes you can go 4-5 generations without finding a pigeon that put up any kind of performance. What use is that? The old adages work best : "The best apples always nearest the tree" etc....
