  1. No worries alan - we know from experience the vast majority of entries come in the post on Monday/tUesday Took our entries tonight & he was busy. Post us your vel here next week.............................
  2. Saddler Aye- not much worked through down in our parts today apparently Not heard much in Fed but our club winner 1579 must feature somewhere me thinks? Just sent moneyo ff for MCC. Lookd like East wind for next Saturday.
  3. Good effort Stu - the future looks promising. If you bump into Chris Balson tell him I've not forgot him & will be in touch very soon Boing Boing Mike
  4. Brereton winner was 1579 ypm - Leb Tammy you can think what you want of me I dow care
  5. Saddler Mossley winner doing 1570 Dunno who won Brereton but plenty o' birds in the town on 2 hrs 12 for 118 miles 800 yards
  6. Easy one John - the day is constantly evolving & changing Conditions get worse & they improve
  7. Saddler Aye - most still have birds adrift. Thing is - we're talking about 100 miles or so here aren't we. Birds should'nt be struggling. I don't think we've had a "proper bo" race yet this season where you can lock the doors after 15 minutes. Hopefully next week will be different. Took our cocks to work with me at Solihull yesterday afternoon instead & they had a little "dummy race" on their own. Let em go at 14:45 - about 30 mile or so?
  8. Alan I'm hearing the same thing from both Worcester & Wolverhampton Fed (went 15 mins later). Loadsa pigeons missing & massive gaps in em I never like to see or hear of a bad race & I don't like to see pigeons missing - but f&ck me do I feel justified!!!
  9. Worcester Fed 09:15 Wincanton Left 'em all at home 'cos of a poor forecast. GUTTED :'( :'( :'(
  10. Rugeley - BLOODYFABULOUS! Forecast still says different though!
  11. Very poor visibility - 6-10mph SE winds Showers developing as day progresses & I don;t think the wind will be strong enough to break the iffy visibility. I'm sure plenty will race though
  12. At Wincanton this week but me no like the forecast so we're not sending. Gonna take the cocks to work with me this afternoon instead for a 35 miler (off the line of flight but they'll sort it out - hopefully !)
  13. Alan I definietly aint happy with it. The only reason I'm still watching it is that our birds would thrive on the extra race prior to the start of the big 'uns Mike
  14. Nice looking cock Stu & seemingly excellent value
  15. Yeah - we need a bit more work into ours prior to the MCC / MNFC - but if it aint fit enough then we aint gonna dabble
  16. Pigeon racing is the hardest game of all Dave If we had horses they'd give the better horses more weight on their back Hyacinth - Best if we don't go there me thinks!
  17. Just imagine BraveHeart - the aggressiveness of the Young Copper's ............................................................................ Stu - Best of luck with 'em!
  18. BraveHeart You wait til the Gasby's get a hold of the brilliant Bauwens from 38 miles :P ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  19. I'm not sure a family can excel at both
  20. Saddler Aye- bizarre I'd have gone & got Ian Atkins
  21. Exactly mate - not 300 mile pigeons! All I';m saying is you could feed ther Brinkmann's whatever yuo want, but I do'nt believe they have the pace to nail a 330 mile race. I think its predominantly horses for courses. That being the case begs the questions IS THE VERSATILE PIGEON DEAD? WILL HE ALWAYS BE NOBBLED BY A "SPECIALIST"????
  22. Hammer has.... Just digging BraveHeart ;)

    Van Reets

Our No.1 Van Den Bosche hen was aptly named "Frilly". Wish we still had her now.....
  25. Might not send this week. SE wind - naff visibility. All the hallmarks of a sticky race & with the MCC and MNFC looming we can't afford mishaps
