Rlez Personally, I would tend to agree. I'd have expected one Alencon, La Ferte type race & one Saintes type race... That way you cater for both middle & long minded fanciers. As I understand it though, I thought the members were balloted at the last MNFC race marking to agree on a French race programme if they were able to race. The only Clubs I know that actually advertises itself as "Long Distance" are the BBC and the NFC

PeterPau Not being nit-picky but tell me where the MNFC has set its stall out for long distance racing? It's a club that flies MIDDLE and LONG.

Ben.. We've been through all this before I'm sure on PIPA. He did indeed operate very successfully at shorter race points before attacking the longer distance. As for Palamos, I'm afraid that 99% of the UK fanciers aren't interested in it & don't really hold it in any credance

Not taking his Biss/Waite into consideration. No need. Yes, he sent a lot - that - and the fact he wasn't short of a few bob are the only things people could throw at him. The man was a born pigeon man - a stockman of the highest order. You canb't "buy" that. Again - his performances are unparalleled irrespective what people say. The killer is though - Look how many National winners he's produced for other people. LOADS!!! Now, THAT'S class !!!

Ian.. When they come out the basket at 600 miles + then it don't matter how many he sends- he always gets 'em. It's not a relay race - his record remains above & beyond anybody that the UK has ever seen. Then look at the amount of National winners he's responsible for for other people. LOADS !!! That's quality !!
