We never ever enter the first 2 YB races. We train to Bromsgrove too which is about 29 miles & then they go to Wincanton - 118. If they can't handle that - both in returning fast & being competitive then they aint no use to us.

We had a rough chuck on Wednesday 6 hours after they were let go we'd only got 6 home out of 36. Ended up now with nearly 30 home. Tell ya something, these b8ggers fill me with confidence now. Westy - YBs have a tendency NOT to want to come back quickly - especially early doors. The Old birds (either sex) don't mess around. It's foolish to take any OB's with YB's training & its never to late to learn that lesson

Try Alun Jones at Prestatyn or Soderlund & Maddison in the UNC. They had an ad in the BHW the other week.. Real class

Pete For future reference, never EVER take OB's with the YBs - it only encourages 'em to get split up. I know you think of it as "insurance" but you gotta let 'em work it out for themselves
