I had a yearling hen return to me on monday morning with a big hole in her side. Ive decided to call her Lucky. She was hit with a bop as a y/b then hit outside the loft with a perigrine in the winter and now this how lucky is she. Thats her finished till next year

Maybe you should check out your wild bird food, can be the sweepings off the floor Or infected by mice dropping which can cause you all problems with your birds . Wild birds are what they are and food produce can have anything mixed in I certainly would not be using it just to save a couple of£££

Better in the stock loft where she is safe. Not some dirty big bop ripping the head off the bird ( Dont temt fate )

Anything but white I have a crows nest a few gardens away and last year I had a couple of whites The crows chased them every time there were out They must have thought they were young gulls which we have a lot of as well. It also think there the first birds seen by Bops because of there colour. You dont see may white one on the front page of the BHW as winners

Advice needed . I have a white grizzle cock . what is the best colour of hen to pair him up with so they can throw anything but a white. His sire was a white grizzle his dam was a blue cheq white flight

Well done to Sandy Milne and his team for all there hard work ,A great day out. I met Basin View fae P/Bs and Gordy Cambell fae Montrose.
