You should know this George Did our Fed this year not have a bad race out of Cowdenbeath where hundreds of Y/Bs were lost due to a BOP attack at the time of liberation. It cost the fed plenty in lost birdage We soon moved from that site Does that make Cowdenbeath a bad race point ???

I agree they have laid the red carpet out for the headman of China, China has flooded the world with cheap steel and are selling it at a loss . Now Cameron and his cronies are going to let china build the new high speed railway as they have the technology Guess what they will have to use miles and miles of steel rails and it will come all the way from China As there will be no more steel plants left in this country Because the chinks have priced them out the market and its( British Steel No More)

Listening to the news I hear that two steel plants in the Lanarkshire area are to close. Will this affect the fancy in the Lanarkshire area ??.. . I do hope not as the as it something the fancy could do without

If they are put on the transporter for use at the race point (if needed) Does that mean that the federations will have to have a special licence for carrying these explosive items. ??????

Ive had no proplems I have tossed 40 from 2mls to 35mls 12 times and dropped 1 . I stay away from the usual roots I have trained a lot from the west and stayed away from the coast, I know some will say you have train them the way they will race . I by training the birds from the west am getting the birds fit and used to coming out of the baskets not showing them the route home Im sure the bops know where most of us train from and use it for easy pickings. I know they will have to face this band off marauders every weekend racing but at least they have had stress free training up till now. It seems to have worked out for me and my Y/Bs seem to be in A1 condition just now

Better watch out for the North of Scotland fed who will be at Brechin on the 18th and Cowdenbeath on the 25th

Im only up the road from you. So far I have had 8 tosses up to30 mls with no losses and thats putting them up in 4s . I feel if you dont train your birds when they go to there 1st race they will go round and round looking for there loft at the the race point. This can cause a lot of stress and and what happens to your birds after that is anyones guess. Plus the fact if your birds are not fit im sure they wont make it either

I was listening to the news on tv yesterday . Some worker on the rig found a racing pigeon on the rig . He the contacted his girlfriend who just happen to work for the SPCA . The bird was then put on a chopper and flown to Aberdeen ,where it was picked up by the SPCA And the was driven all the way down to there holding centre in Bristol Nobody could tell you its ring number Nobody contacted any of the unions for information on this bird What a useless waste of money Worse still if it a Scottish bird it will cost a few quid to get it back When it could have been dropped off at a Aberdeen loft Im sure the boys would have made sure it got home safely This was all a big publicity stunt to show Thats all it was ( AHHHH say no more)
