Its 1.5 m they have stated i have phoned the planning in fife council .com this morning . Yes he owns the house .but they have confirmed max is 4m x 1.8 .or less for a pigeon loft . 1m = 3ft 3inches x 4 is 13ft no 15ft so its 3 x 1240 sheets which is 12ft nae wastage on cut sheets hear . Lol 4.8 is just under 16ft .

Not really Jamie they dont stay next to him but did ask if he had permision for pigeons. As it turned out he dosent need it and the letter hes toget only states that . A well 12 x 6 do for the young birds next year to start with lol .

Yes he is allowed pigeons but hadnt exspected the loft size to be so small archie . Is that par for the course . He bought the cottage as there were no restrictions on the deeds but some of the modern bungalows he looked at had no livestock on them .

My uncle talking to a neighbour who said did he have permision to build a pigeon loft in his garden . He then phoned fife council planing who have said he needs a letter of consent from them which costs £120 and the loft cannot be more than 4m long x 1.8 m wide and 2m high also must be 1.5 meters away from neighbours boundrie fences . Not much of a loft that 12 x 6 . They said once he pays the £120 he will get a letter of consent and can put the loft up and they will check its the corret dimensions once its up . Anyone else have those restrictions . Had hoped to put up 2 x 16 x 8 foot lofts .

when i raced in ireland in partnership with my uncle we could put them into 140 miles down the coast and get them no probs just loft fit . They prob be bit behind but just follow up the east coast and west wind held them on coast . If i tried that hear in west side putting them into 140 id be lucky to get many back and it would be luck .The cumbrian hills and pennines would stop them .

Tootaly depends where you live . Some areas hard to get them even well trained
