Always used to rear the young anes on big horse beans and ....in a dish in the nest box was ,, 50/50 hormoform and porridge oats......never done them no harm

Would be nice to find out in seasons to come how the doos that took part in this race do. , Again well done to all who took part in any way, racing, convoying,organisation etc.

Experience is a great asset to any organisation.....but if doo racing is to survive....let youth have there say.........

Scotland is to small membership wise and birdcage wise to sustain doo racing . .......as it is at the moment....biggest cost in doo racing is the cost of actually getting the doos to the race point.........why not fill up transporter.......let's face it ....how many fed transporter go down the full????))) As for races later in year.........yes you are right .....maybe a transit van ......yes that may well be required,

I Have had doos in this show for about 30yrs , but haven't had them in for last few years ..used to be a really good day out. I think I am correct in saying that entry's were never taken on the day , entry date was always a few days before show date to allow pens to be allocated etc. Remember this show sometimes had 500/600 doos in it . Still it would be good for somebody to answer your question, although it does say about entries on the advert. Enjoy your day out ....you don't have far to go.

What time can non exhibitors enter the hall ?

Bit of work .....nah ....a lot of work......BUT .....it MIGHT be worth it.....

Sammy What you ask of your/ other officials is a major task , remember they have to work / family/ ..oh and they also have to look after there own doos . Sammy I know where you are coming from . Sometimes it's the past that stops us moving forward

As I stated on here a few weeks back , I have not raced for the last 3 years . I think this idea of Feds going together is only way forward , it used to be the biggest expense in doo racing was the cost of getting the doos to the race point ,transporters running down the road side by side , only to end up at the same race point , all half full.......at best. Now it seems to be the doos are the expense.....we can't afford to keep accepting these losses .....do nothing ..and nothing will change. Although I am in Fife ,still think it's a great forward piece of thinking for the doo game . In all my years in the doo game , over 45years, the only forward piece of thinking was the east of Scotland amalgamation, which I think we had just over 11000 doos at a race......the one and only time in my life I competed against so much doos. How many guys on the East of Scotland can say that ...apart from the Amal? Beat of luck guys ,it will be hard work believe me, I was in at the start of negotiations in fife ,so much negativity its unreal . But we proved it could work Stick with it.

Homer ....as you drive from central Scotland ......its always down hill to Kelso .....if ...as we normally have a bop in the area ...best way out for doos is south. Just my observation for while

One problem with taking proposals from the floor is .....has the proposed lib site been checked out for facilities, toilets, water ? Will the proposer stand up at agm and provide pictures/ maps / all before we go there ?
