i see it robbie and aye we do wait for the blue or sun if its in the mood, no birds leave unless there is orientation by blue or sun, high cloud n bright n good vis for 2 mile normally ok but only with old birds,convoy over say 600 usually leave in a batch but 1000 or over allways split into batches , i think its a natural thing for to combat predation, the way it is now ime afraid, y/b you need broken blue with sun if poss but in early races you might get a percent of the convoy who never seen a race crate so on lib can really ef up birds trying to get a line, this is the thing everyone should be in with y/b frome the start nae 2 wks later, race prog at fault there,omo of course.

now robbie you know better thanask that, 15yr i been libbin yir doos and mine so hey dinna get me annoyed, yes i waited for the fair weather with the broken blue and the sun tryin ti break and the doos were itchin tae go, a good lib followed and if nae happy then give alec mcgubbins a phone he watched the lib, all liberators try there best at racepoints but it can be a tricky job at times, atb davy,

imo gav, each to there own but its happened before having to top up crates at inverurie at midnight cause there wasnt any room left, we really need a tally done midweek to help conroller estimate birdage.

for airflow and three sides watering we have the best transporter out,i have never yet smelled pigeon in the back and it is never hot, the airflow above heads flowing into each crate is the best with roof skylights that are never closed,i would have no wories taking 30 to a crate for a short race its that good imo of course.

su 6536 hi was told coll at banff and libbed at aviemore aroun 300 today, also solway d/check w/flight hen handed to s aitcheson eyemouth for onward , bird was handed to me last w/end at p/head and i libbed at scotch corner now handed to me at banff yesterday, doo has done some miles?another nehu handed to the above for repat but canna mind number, aitcheson does a fantastic job getting birds back to owners.
